Yeah.. been a long and tiring day.. Up since 620am...got ready and left home at 715am thereabouts. Took a bus to Admiralty and got up the train. Reached Boon Lay at about 8am. Dennis was there..waiting for his usher as well. So.. we waited together and headed down to the coffeeshop opposite Church for breakfast.
Yummy!! It's been a long long while since I last got to savour the nice chee cheong fun.. Haa.. It's still as good as ever.. :p

Reported for duty at the CCH Operations Area near Level 1 Drive-thru. Feels good to be back in church. A place we can call our own. A sense of belonging. I guess that can be attributed to the fact that I was there for a long 10 months last year.. Hee.. :D

Was briefed about what to do and I was allocated to Lift 4. So..went up and down the lift so many times, that I've actually lost count of how many times that was! Haa.. :p
But it was fun. The children were cute. Did my best to talk to some of them, say "Hello!!" and "Bye-bye!!" to them.. And I guess ..and I hope.. I did made their day.. :p

This went on all the way from almost 10am - 12plus. Somewhere in the middle, we did sneak into B4 to take a look at what's going on.. The magic show was cool..and the puppet show nice too.. hehe.. The kids... so innocent.. so pure.. so fun.. just that... some are really naughty.. keke.. :p

So...we ended at about 1pm. When some of the rest of my ushers called. So... went back to the Ops Area and took their attendance. CCH Svc 2 was under Jean & my charge. Waited for the CCH IC to brief us and then we allocated the various positions to the ushers. We had a good many ushers.. hehe.. and that was cool.. hehe... :p

We had 7 sisters and 13 brothers!! Wah.. hehe.. that was a good record... :)
So... as the IC.. i had to walk around.. from Lift 1 - Lift 8 and from Basement 4 - level 1.. haha.. it was fun.. to be all over the place.. not being restricted anywhere.. that's what I like.. :)
fm commented..."that's the good thing about being an IC." how true... :D

It was fun.. a little serious when I was briefing the ushers i think.. haha.. I think I really look serious when I just simply not smile. MMmm...and I tried to smile a little la.. else.. very funny.. such serious look.. but.. I don't feel that I looked serious when I was talking la.. but..well.. I can't see myself there.. no mirror leh.. keke.. :p

MMmmm..that's something to learn...

Yesterday Sis HM emailed and asked.. what positions do i want to try out?? And what do i want to do?? What are the visions and goals I have for my ushers?? and how do i plan to help them to grow?? I think.. I need to do more.. and really sit down and plan and think of how i can help them to be an even better usher... :)

God... I pray..that you'll empower me to do even more... and increase my capacity to contain the increasingly huge responsibilities that are coming my way... It wont be easy.. but I know it's not that difficult either.. All things are possible with u!! :D Amen!! :D
