Just reached home an hour ago... just finished sending out mails...
And about to go sleep le...
Reached home so late.. coz.. Dad got admitted to SGH.
While i was having debrief with my CGL... mum called..
She said dad is not feeling too well and they're on their way to SGH.
Told her i'll make my way down.

Just minutes before.. EG just asked if we going for supper. I said yeah...
But well.. family comes first.. i cant possibly leave my dad and go for supper... though i was really hungry... yah..
Anyway... Thanks to 姐 for giving me a lift..
Thanks Nat for accompanying me.. and thanks YQ for making the way down to send us back..
Really appreciate that... :)

Now's the season.. devil is really not happy with whatever is going on.. Mum's going SOT..
A&B is ending and the stupid devil is trying to make things happen.
Every stumbling block is a stepping stone and God can turn all things around for good to those who love Him... And YES! I love Him!!

Mmmm... was so blessed today too...
Had a free haircut and styling!! Wooo hoo!! :D

Yeah!! I really wanna just thank God for having my mum..
We may have arguements at times..hahaa.. only 2 of us.. dun argue then do what??
haaha... I mean.. usually just us at home.. well.. dun really get to see her often till lately...
She quitted from her job........because of a stingy boss.. well.. shant go into details here.. Bleah..
Yah.. so she's home most of the time... and I'll get nice lunch when i get up... hahaha..
Yah.. did i just mention LUNCH?!?! hahaha...

Yah.. so... she has decided to go SOT this year... and yeah...she had her interview on Sunday...
Plans are in place... and i think.. its soooo cool!!! :)
So happy that even though she's in her 50's, she's still so passionate for God...
She has such a ever-learning spirit.. And i pray that SOT will bring up up to another level of faith and glory!! :D

With 2 SOT graduates... Dad has got no choice.... but to join us soon!!!
Looking forward to his salvation.. join me in prayer yeah? :)

Haha.. just came back from The Mind Cafe....
Hmmm.... supposed to start at 7pm... we were early... (3 of my CG members + me).
We reached at 6:55am. And yes!! We were early!! :)
Not that we were excited or what.. but we just didnt want to be late..
hahaha...

Had dinner... 4 course dinner...
1. Sparkling Mango... very nice leh.. i had like... at least 5 cups throughout the whole nite... soooo thirsty man....
2. Clam Chowder (Favourite soup!!!)
3. Crispy Chicken Platter.... Mmmmm.. not bad la....
4. Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream... VERY nice!!! =P

MMmm... Thanks to Sum for blessing me with tonite's event.. hahhaa...
She was the one who wanted me to accompany her la... so... she volunteered to pay for it..
Of coz I wont resist that! Hhahaha.. :)

Yah.. then we played 2 games... the host... not really fantastic... hahaha.. he's not a crowd warmer.. haah.. boring... bleah....
The games.. quite funny la.. but that's about it...

Sigh... another nite gone like that.. hahhaa.. Mmmm.. nothing much leh...

Gosh.. without realizing it... I've got only 4 more hours to sleep.. before I need to get up at 9am...and reach Expo by 11am.. bleah...

Just finished editing forecasts and sending out emails...
This week's forecast is driving me crazy!! Hahaha..
Not that bad.. but... well... i like to have control over things.. when its not within my control.. i just feel lost.. bleah... :/
But sometimes control needs to be de-centralized.. yeah...
Mmmm. so.. yah.....

There's only one of me.. and i cant have control all the time.. else......
But i think i'm wont be so crazy if i have all the control.. when i dont.. i get more lost...
Hahahah..that's me.. always rather get things done myself.. but oh well...

Yeap... so many things to do.. feeling dizzy le... coz.. my brain needs sleep!!!!

Just reached home at 2am man. From Zone Meeting....
Waited for CGL till 12am... then we celebrated a birhtday..which was supposed to be celebrated before 12am.. but he came at 12:05am...
So.. oh well.. then some more announcements... then we left Starbucks at Central at 12:30am.
CGL drove.. and so we went for supper.. yeah.. really hungry man... :P
Guess what we had? No need to guess also know..

Prata!!! And yes.. my fav Tissue Prata again!! At this prata shop near Sembawang Shopping Centre.. yeah.. some of you know where.. been there with me before.. and we all agreed that their Tissue prata is really nice!! :D
Yup.. then reached home 2am le.. bathed come out almost 3am... after doing what i had to do.. its now almost 5am.. Yah. i always need about 2 hours in front of the PC to settle all my admin..
Bleah... tired.. more admin to do tmr.. and service to attend...

God.. i really need Your strength... coz..after Sat will be a long Sunday... where it'll be lack of sleep on Sat and then to report early for Sunday!!

SLEEP!!!! That's when my sleep will usually roll over to Monday....and then a vicious cycle starts...
Sigh.. cannot cannot..cannot sleep so late on weekends man...

At Settler's Cafe at North Canal Road... Mmm...
The ambience if any wasnt that fantastic.. I think its really just about having fun together, and fellowshipping.. The food aint fantastic too.. hahaha....

Thursday is Ladies Nite.. so Ladies, just have to pay $6+ for a drink.. (it was Rootbeer or Green tea free flow for last nite...)
And pay just $5+ for a main course... where we can choose from a limited choice... There were about 6-7choices like Chicken cutlet... Fish & Chips...Jumbo Hotdogs... Black Pepper Beef/chicken.. Vegetarian Spaghetti....something like that...
Guys will have to pay $9+ for a drink.. and then 10% discount for main course... (which ranges $6-9)

All the ladies spent $12.10. Guys $16.70...
Ladies nite is from 7pm - 11pm.. So meaning to say... you can stay there from 7pm...and play till they close shop.. which is 11pm..

I would suggest.. we go somewhere have a good meal.. or cheap meal... there're coffeshops ard... and then go there pay $6 just to play game.. so as to save time.. hahhaha.. coz the food... not that fantastic la... but $5 for fish & Chips is not bad la.. portion might be a little small for guys.. heheh...

But there are really many board games and card games to choose from.. but we took an hour to finish one game.. hahaha.. it was kindda fun... we all had fun anyway.. i think.. :P

Those are days...where I can relax and think of nothing else... hahaha..
Now... I can't really do that.... so much to do.. and so little time....
Sigh.. especially.. when you get people.. who dont respond.....

Woah...
after being in pain for the whole nite.. finally for once... I dont feel those pricking kind of pain.. :/

Went to the dentist... went in... he took ONE look at my teeth and concluded:
Dentist: This kind, you only have to extract it out. That's the only way.
.............................................
He stood there.. waiting for a response from me....
Looks like I dont have any choice either.
Pull it out..or bear with the pain..and for my mouth to rot.....

Me: Is it going to be very painful?
D: No..
Me: Is there any side effects?? Swollen?? Anything??
D: No..
Me: How much?
D: $45
Me: How long will it take?
D: 10min...

*silence*

Me: ok loh....
Out goes mum to wait for me outside... and there i was... panic all over my face.....
Fear crept in... lost... wonder... everything you can imagine...
I closed my eyes.... prayed a prayer...
God..may your peace come over me right now... and let it be a painless thing...
I prayed...prayed.. prayed..
D: Open your mouth....
Me: Aaaaa......
Some anaesthetic was injected into my tooth...
D: Rinse your mouth..
Me: *rinse rinse*
*wait.......... while he prepares his "tools"....

D:Okie.. 6 hours it should be fine... Bite on the cotton for 1 hour. After that if no more bleeding, then you can just remove it...else..change a new cotton. If its painful... take the painkiller.. else... its fine. The wound would take about a week to heal... and your ulcer also about a week...
Me:.... God.. let it be just 3 days... I dont need a week to heal...

D: okie... I'll be using some force to pull it out...
You'll feel the pressure... just that no pain..
Me: uh huh....
*Pulling.. extracting... pulling.. struggling...*
Me: God.. faster... let it be done soon.. and not painful....
Just before I wonder how long more....
Dentist: Okie.. bite on it....
Me: *Bite..
D: Okay. done.. Here's ur tooth... pointing to my bloodytooth on the tray...
Amazed.. Woah.. thats fast... and that's a BIG tooth with the root!!

Out i go... paid my $45..and left.....

WOah....

Then I went reaching out with my mum... she reached out to her fren with her CG mate...
Aunties..so its just kopi @ Ya Kun and I sat there reading my "Heart Ablaze" by John Bevere.. :)

After they were done... we went to Tamp IKEA.
Cool place.. walked around..shoped around... had Poached Salmon... Mum gave me her small piece of Fried Chicken that was in her Laksa...
Walked the 1st level... then to the cashier...
Then the not-to-be-missed HOTDOG at $1!!! Yum yum...
Had a hot dog... a drink.. for only $1.70!! Cool!! :)

Then while we were going back... my grandaunt called. She stays at Pasir Ris.. and was going to Yishun.. woah.. free ride home.. hehe.. yeah..

So.. was on the car.... they were talking.. and something she said struck me...

Grandaunt: Woah.. you very eh sai hor?
Me: Huh??
Grandaunt: You extract tooth still can shop like that??
Me: Blur.....

There and then... i really thanked God..
Was I supposed to be half-dead? Dizzy??? Or whatever??
I dunno leh.. never extract tooth this big before... haha...
And... was i supposed to rest???
Ehh... it never occured to me also le...
I only know i was bleeding quite a fair bit initially...
but after i started eating.. i was fine le... Eerrr...

Really.. God's grace and protection!! :D
Praise the Lord..that I dont have to suffer violence and extremes.. ahaha..
For now.. I do feel a little dizzy.. perhaps.. i do need a rest.. and i can feel the impact of the dentist pulling hard at my tooth... errr.. bleah..
It doesnt feel good.. a bit funny... like my whole teeth falling out.. hahaha.. Mmm..

Someone also commented that... he's amazed with what I did and the nothing much i felt..
Err... Am i blessed or what?? heheheh.. :)

Yeah.. attended my company's Annual Flying Start 2007 event yesterday. It was cool!! :D
Had a fantastic emcee.. nice food... yah... for once.. hehe...

Had an awesome speaker. Dr William Tan.
He had polio at the age of 2.. and was a kindergarten dropout.
But he went on to Selegie Primary School and then to RI.. then to many more PhDs...
He's a 1st Class Honors Student in Harvard and Oxford University.
And he's now a scientist and Medical Doctor.
Can you believe it?
Recently, Dr William Completed 7 Marathons in 7 Continents in less than 70 days...
Current record is by someone.. (forgot his name) in 99 days... cool eh???
He just came back from Antartica as well... doing a marathon there... Amazed...
If someone with such disability is able to accomplish much, what about us?
People who are able-bodied. What are we doing with our lives?


I guess, its usually pressure, immense pressure that compels us to do greater things.
Pressure from the world, from people who despises us, the strong urge from within to prove ourselves worthy, to prove and show that we are able to accomplish much...that will eventually push us to FOCUS and with determination, accomplish what no one seemed possible.

IMPOSSIBLE is again spelt I M POSSIBLE.
Nothing is Impossible... I am Possible!
I can make things happen.. if I focus..and with determination.

Yeah... Had my 1st RIC meeting.. with a new batch of RIC...
Mmmm.. somehow..it felt different... not that the people...
but..somehow... Mmm.. yeah.... well.... people come and people go...
Raised up some.. and send away some....
Ehh.. not some leh.... 4 RICs.. all changed.... :'(

Something similar to note:
1 person was absent from the meeting.. Like my 1st Meeting with my previous RICs...
Hahha.. and its a she.. hahaha...

But this time... its 4 people... plus me...
The last time.. it was 3 people... plus me....
Yah... Mmmm...
It was a rather okay meeting.. Told them what to do..what to expect..

I guess the difference lies in that.. most of the current RIC have done Recruitment before..and have a rough idea of how it's gonna be like... not like my Pioneer batch...

What's with people nowadays?
Seems like everyone dun like to reply...
And everyone is keeping their sms-es...
For who? I wonder....

If they just dont reply all the people... then who are the honored ones?
Sigh.. I have 1500 sms-es to optimise.. and I still do not have enough..
Sometimes, I also do selective replying.. and sometimes.. some sms-es just dont require a reply.. or at least necessary... that's what people nowadays say...

Just imagine.. when we first started out with hp... people even have time to send good morning and good nite smses.. those cute little bears.. haha.. no longer receives them now..
Everyone is busy... so many things to do..so many sms-es to send..
Where got extra sms to send you good nite???
Duhz....
Maybe.. from bfs to gfs.. and vice versa...

I guess.. people only reply to important people..
People that matters to them..
People that have authority over them..
People whom they respect...

Everyone has a list of different important people...
Next time you don't receive a reply.. ask...

That's what i derive la.. from... everyone that's telling me..that... so and so didnt reply...
We can sent out 10 sms... and only 1-2 reply back...

Sat was a busy day....
Actually.. not that busy la.. coz i only slept at 3am on Friday nite.. or rather...sat morning...
Waking up at 730am on Sat morning was a struggle... But still I had to get up.. coz.. its Adrian & Lilian's ROM! Yeah...

They've been courting for more than 6 years... Woah.. how long...
Remember seeing them when i first joined their CG.. seeing how they've grown spiritually and emotionally.. it's really a joy!!
My warmest and heartiest congratulations goes all out to you!! :D

Mmm... trying to upload some photos.. but seems like.. the link got some problem.. it wont pop out!! Mmm... argh...

Yeah.. so.. after their ROM... went to Miramar Hotel for some Dim Sum Buffet and then to AMK to meet mum and grandaunt.. Mmm.. was very tired...and didnt wanted to go.. wanted to go home rest.. but.. mum wanted me to meet them.. so yeah loh...

But PTL!! Hehehe.. Grandaunt giving me some business.. hehehehe.. Pray that this would be a bonus for me... woo hoo!! So nice of her... hehehhee.....
So it was a well worth trip!! :D
Yeah... Back home.. and i slept pretty early... coz..gotta get up at 530am on Sunday....

Yeah... I stay directly opposite the so called 旺 7-eleven. The one that has caused many people to strike their TOTO every year... Sigh. and ever since it was on the news that this 7-eleven is so 旺, the queue has never got shorter.. and I'm truly amazed and amused at the people who would really take time off to queue. Should I feel guilty or ashamed that though I stay so near, I've never attempted to queue?? Hahaha.. no.. i dun buy 4D de... haha.. I dun think my parents are that crazy to queue too.. hahaa.. But.. oh well.. truly speaks of a true blue Singaporean...

Heard from the taxi uncle that 2 person won last nite's 2 million dollars toto.. Woohoo..
If only I had that kind of money.. ehehe...
What would I do?? hehehee.. Give to BF loh... Mmm.. a portion la.. a big portion i would think.. the rest... get a car.. and pay off my debts!!! hahahahahaha.. sure still got a lot leftover... heehheh... :D
