While waiting for my client to arrive... i was hungry and made my way to Food Junction at Raffles City. After a round of scrutinizing.. i ended up at Local Delights.
Here's the ordering process..

Me: Sambal 炒饭一盘
Guy: 要辣吗?
Me: *nod nod* Sambal 炒饭不是辣的嚜?
Guy: 有辣的跟没有辣的...
Me: *puzzled??* (Isn't sambal spicy???)Sambal 不是辣的嚒?
Guy: *irritated; a slight nod of his head in agreement* 三块八. ($3.80)

Paid for my Sambal rice and stood there... wondering.. if he was just irritating with me... trying to make him lose face... BUTTTTT...isn't Sambal spicy??????????????????????

I wonder what's the matter.... was i wrong? I doubt so..

Woah... For so many days.. i didnt blog.
Was like.. in office. out of office... at home... admin...
Dunno...
Almost every nite, I'll doze off in front of the screen..tonite..
Slightly more energetic.. dunno why..

But at least for now, I'm not half-closing my eyes yet.. haha..
Past 2 nites at this time... i was already gone... yah...

So.. good.. been at office.. started to work... and.. yesh...

I must let go of 2006 and look forward to 2007!! :D

Reformat all..and reinstall everything again.
2007 is a BRAND new year.. and I should start everything afresh.

Mmm...starting from where I left off on Sunday...
The expected took place.. and it was kindda... ookk i think...
It wasnt as bad as we thought. I guess thats due to the fact that the focus wasnt on what we thought to be. Good. At least.. it didnt distract me and affect me. Hehehe...

So.. yeah.. people are moving out..and people are coming in...
Change is the only Constant.
That's the main thing that's been said and heard over and over again the past 2 weeks at least.
Well.. I guess that's very true.

All of us needed space to grow. And if it's getting packed and squeezy, there wont be room to grow.
Need to expand out and spread out. Yupp..

Jing left UM...after 12 years and 10 months. Woah.. I can't imagine myself.. 12 years ago, I was just.. a Pri 6 kid...taking my PSLE. Hahaha.. :p
Didnt really got to know her that well. It was only the occasional "hello.." and smiles of acknowledging one another. Never get to work with her really..
But from what I see and hear.. I guess she's really a good leader.

Will still miss her. She's pretty!! Her beautiful eyes... charming!! :D
Her smile...so attractive.. hehe... Hey.. but she's married... sorry... hahhahaa....

Yeah... Will still see her around in church and pray that she'll move on to greater heights where she is going to now... :)
I'm sure she will... :D

As for 4S5.. yeah.. we'll still be growing strong...
23 left... but we've some people coming in.. and for now... we still have 62 people.. Yupp.. :D
I dunno... I was sad.. but somehow..the reality has yet to sink in...
Or probably... I've been sad for too long that... I'm immuned to it le..??
The initial news was tramatising.. but I got out of it....
For now... i guess the leaving hasnt really began...and hence the pain not yet felt..
I hope it'll not come.. and life'll still go on.. yah....

In the midst of practising guit for CG, I heard a knock on my door.
Puzzled, i went out. The urgent sound of a young boy.
Running to the door, I stood in puzzlement.

Me: Yes?
Boy: (holding a A4 Size paper with some words and some potong ice cream picture..)
Err... We are selling Potong Ice-cream. We came from Bedok...and it has been raining.
Our business has been affected. Could you help us by buying a box??
Me: *shake head.. Nobody eats leh..
Boy: Please la.. raining.. no one buy...
Me: But nobody at home eats this... Dun wan la...
Boy: Please la...

Came another 2 boys...

Boy2: Help us la..
Me: Err.. you go to other doors la... got children one..
Boy: Ask already.. all don't want...

Woke up at 4:30am.
Jayy smsed, called. I told her to give me morning call.

I told her. Let me call Nat first.
Called Nat.. at the 3rd/4th call, she picked up.
We were both on our nice, comfy bed.
Both struggling to get up. Wondering if we should go to airport.
For that 15mins. Or might not even get to see him.
Unable to decide. We decide to call 3rd partner - Ray.
He said. "I doubt so. I gotta work later."

Alright. Decision made. We shall all sleep in.
We'll send him a nice sms and go back to sleep.
Haha. Opps.. We really wanted to go.. bbbuuutt... a bit lazy also. Its 4:30am!!
Urgh..Mmm... But I'm sure he'll understand. Haha.
Don't think he'll expect us to be there as well.
But in the meantime, we'll sure get something done for him.
To give him when he comes back at the end of the month.

Was home the whole day. Bleah.

Start preparing at 6plus for BS at 9pm.
Went to get my 3-in-1 meal at 7pm.
That was my 1st meal of the day. Cool eh?
But had a little gastric at 3plus. Just ignored it and drank some water.
Nothing at home. Sick of Maggie mee. bleah..

So i went to get my meal + Mum's.
Happily watched Project SuperStar 2 Female Finals at 7:30pm.
Cool. Diya rocks.. but Carrie also not bad leh.. heard she got 45marks for last round!
Can't believe it! Will she outwin Diya this time round? Will she be the black horse?
Mmmm.... Both also not bad. Though Diya really good and consistent throughout.

Anyway, I only watched 2 rounds. And it was 8:30pm.
I had BS at Riverwalk at 9pm. Gosh. Yesh. Your eyes are not playing tricks on you.
I was almost running down, when CY called.

CY: Where you all ah??
me: Err.. we didnt meet today leh..
CY: Oh.. okay loh..
Me: Ahh.. you finished BS le?? (His BS is right before mine)
CY: Yah.. finished le loh..
Me: Gosh.. I'm coming now.. from home.. :P
CY: Wah.......

Yah..wanted to take train.. but since he's done le.. I better take cab.
If its back to back, at least sometimes will overshot timing and i still got chance.
But since ZS is taking a break.. means... I better hurry!!

Took a cab.. reached at 8:55pm loh.. Cab fare $13.80.
Waited till 9:30pm then start. Coz 2 other BS mates having HCGL BS..
We started without them and thank God we did.
They finished theirs at 10pm!! Joined us when they were done.
And I ended mine at 10:45pm. Gosh!
Had i known, i would have just taken train. save money. Sigh.. but... oh well..

Supposed to meet a friend at 10:30pm.
Sorry dude...to let you wait so long in vain.. :P
Not intentionally la. How i know will end so late??
So we cancelled our meeting and all went home.

Thank God i didnt meet up with my friend.

Always a favourite. I can even eat Rojak with plain rice for a meal loh.
Nice leh.. hehe... I very easy to feed de...
Easily satisfied. I dont go for good food all the time..
There're simple dishes that I like.. and I can make do with..
You know Cai Po?? (preserved turnips?)
Yah.. just give me that with porridge or rice.. I can be happy with my dinner le..

Yah.. but a good day la.. nothing much accomplish..
and... what i wanted.. still yet to be given to me... sigh....
It's not easy to get all the cooperation you need, even if its someone who's supposed to be good.

Had a partial CG outing today..
It's my Biao Jie aka CG member's birthday.

So..they planned a CG Dinner.. whoever can make it come kindda thing.
So after my visit to Gleneagles to pray for someone who's having a Heart Bypass tomorrow morning, I went down to Heeren to join them. :)

It was a okay dinner.. we had fun eating and talking.. as usual.. me and my vegetables stacking..
If you have never been to "Marche" with me before.. I'm best at stacking the vegetables.. hahah.
Many are amazed at my "stacking" skills. One small little plate can end up in 2 bowl-fulls of cooked vegetables.. hahahah.... I'm proud of myself in that area. Some who uses a BIG plate... ends up with a bowl of vegetables lesser than mine in quantity loh.. hahahahaha...

I'm good okay?? hehehe... :)

Yah.. went to Starbucks to fellowship after that.. :)
Same old place.. i can't believe it.. hahaha... I was just there last nite.. and there again tonite..
Haha.. :P

Some food for thoughts:

4 Important Attributes we need to have:
1.Accountability
Be it spiritual, personal, ministry... be accountable to your leaders, ICs...
Let them know what's going on in your lives...so they can help you to grow...

2. Teachability
When we do something wrong or are being corrected, be willing to step out of comfort zone.
Find out how we can do something better and improve.
Be willing to learn from others, from leaders.
Being willing to listen and learn.

3. Initiative
Always take initiative to do things that will help us to grow and learn.
Don't wait till we are asked to do it. Do more than is required of us.
That way, we learn faster.
Write duty reviews, spiritual reports so that we can learn and improve certain skills.

4. Availability
Basic is still always CG.
CG first, then Ministry.
We need to set our foundation right.
When we are spiritually strong and strong in the Word, only then can we serve and impact others' lives.
And not serve until we backslide! :/


Dream Big. Have dreams. But don't be a shooting star. It doesnt last.
It may be glorious. But only for a split second. Go up fast.. come down also fast..
It is just short-lived.
Pray! And Pray!
Whatever obstacles/challenges we have... overcome it!! Conquer it!!
Expand our capacity to do more, to contain our growth.
Increase our cup, so that we can contain more.
A regular cup can only contain so much of water.
Untill we change it to a Large cup, it can never contain any extras that's being added to it.
Have increase so that we can contain our overflowing!

Humility.
No matter how high we go, stay humble.
Great leaders are always humble.
Desire to be like the great leaders who stay humble even when they climb up high.
Don't be like shooting stars. Stay up there and continue to shine ever more bright! :)

Treasure your youth.
Good to be young. Lesser commitment, more time to serve.

Everyone loves increase.
But no one likes to take the responsilibity of nurturing...
Then??
Want so much for what?
Its always tough and tiring to water and nuture.
But without which...where would the harvest come from???

Without sacrifice of our time and fellowship, how would the harvest grow?
Do we expect the seeds to sprout on its own and grow as if it know how?
That'll lead to a weak harvest.
Malnutritioned. Unhealthy.

Then how?
Only the few who are willing to sacrifice will see a good harvest.
Time and effort are never wasted.
God honors our works.. though we are not saved by works.
God sees our sacrifice..

What if....there're other things that requires the farmer's attention too??
Like purchasing more seeds??

Its like a chicken and egg thingy i suppose...

Well... God gives us choice.
We choose what we want to do....

Mmmm... cool..

Had our 2nd Meeting on Tuesday 7:30pm at Wisma Republic Foodcourt.

We had 100% in attendace!! Yayy!! Thanks to all for making the time and effort to come down.. hehee.. :)

Met up with JX about 5plus... we shopped around from Taka to Heeren to Paragon to Toys 'R' Us and then finally settling down at Wisma Republic Foodcourt. Hahah..
Sidetrack: I'm always amazed how a 'dead' foodcourt can be so alive after a revamp. Indeed, atmosphere, style and decorations play such an important role in making a difference. MMmm..

Yup.. Most of us were early...except for one.. Mmm... new ma.. dunno the rules.. we're all punctual people! hahaa.. :P

Had a good time of fellowship with my RICs and we shared about what we went through and what's to come! Yayy!! :D

Short short meeting la.. we ended at about 9:30pm. 2 hours inclusive of dinner.. is VERY short loh.. hehe. :P
After our meeting, we took our time to leave the place and I reached home at about 1045pm. Hahaha.. From Orchard to Yishun leh.. hahah.. But it was a nice fellowship that we had.

I never realized to the very detail how much or many positions I'm taking up.. till I was describing to someone who innocently asked what I am doing in the wee hours of the rainy night.. How I wished I could be sleeping... Awwww.... :)

Ministry itself..
1. Within my team: Calling up some ushers --> getting forecasts and updating forecasts, getting into their lives...
2. Within Section: Calling up/getting in touch with the RICs --> Getting forecasts for trainees and updating them online and excel, ensuring its done properly...
3. Within Section: Updating the Paradox and ensuring all teams are up-to-date.
4. Within Group: Ensuring the respective RICs from all sections submit forecast for trainees --> getting forecasts and compiling, updating attendance and submitting..
5. Within Group: Forecasting and allocating Trainers for Sunday Training --> sms and more sms, update excel too...

WaaHhhh....that makes me have at least 6 excel sheets to look at almost every week!! Hahahah... No wonder... JX says she has been influenced by my excel sheets.. haha..
Revelation: I'm always excel-ing.. hahaha.... that should be a good thing. Keke.. :P

Starts everything afresh...

As JX was telling me that she was transferring her stuffs from 2006 calendar to 2007, i just received a revelation. Really... a fresh start.. a brand new beginning.. leaving behind the past... and starting everything ANEW!
EVERYTHING!! Yeah... it includes bad habits.. i need to change my mindset.. and with God's strength... I can do it!! Yayy!!

Father, You are my strength, my tower of refuge... my pillar on which I can lean on... Give me hope... YES!! :D

On a 2nd note... i almost fainted in the office today. Not literally.
A client called. Not really MY client. Left by my ex-colleague. aka my Orphan policyholder. Yes. Thats what we refer to them as... after 30minutes of yayaking....the whole conversation moved into a whole new dimension... yesh...whether I settled down... am I attached?? what kind of guy i like? Filled me in with details about her BROTHER...

I mean.... u know what i mean... she doesnt know which church he's from.. but.. can you imagine.. if he's from some C church.. or N church.. I'll faint loh...

She asked what I am looking for.. Mmmmmm... i'll know when i see it... feel it.. hahaha..
No la.. that wasnt what I said.. for me to know.. for you to find out.. bbuuutt...

She caught me dumb-founded. I saw her only once... 2 years back.. when I took over her cases... it was a mere 2 hour lunch... and..... she wanna me to know her brother.... hahahhahaha....

But but but but... God... if this is from You, I'll gladly consider it.. BBBUUTTT... if its just a passing train... let it pass... don't let me be tempted..... If it's an open door... please keep it open wide.. but if it's not from You, please.. close it tight and shut it away from me......
Hehhee.. nonetheless.. I think... I still know what I want..and what I'm looking for... I wont be tempted that easily...

And I wont compromise on my faith... :)

Woooh.. went East Coast for 'pinic' and cycling with Van,Jayy,CY & me!!!
Made some sandwiches in the morning.. Van came to my place after her driving lessons...
We prepared Egg and tuna Sandwiches.. i made Fruit Salad.... :)

Then off to East Coast. Only Chang Yan was punctual!! Hahaha..not that early.. he woke up super late too..everyone was late!! haha..

But we had some sandwiches.. fruit salad..and then started our cycling. CY & Jayy took the blades.. We went some rounds....slow and steady ones. coz gotta wait for the bladers..
Went to bathe at about 345pm. Oh man..the toilet... super smalll..and pathetic. 50cents somemore .. Duhz... >.<"

I bathed first..then Van... then we went to meet up with the rest.. Nat and FM were here by now... took their own sweet time to come man.. duhz... we ate some more sandwiches and fruit salad and made our way to Expo for service..
As we would all be serving and wont be able to concentrate full force, we decided to go service and simply sit there and enjoy the whole service! :D
Yayy!! What a feeling.. nice to be really worshipping God in the service.. without any disturbance.. haha.. or distraction.. :)

Indeed.. we are called to fulfilled the Cultural Mandate in our Marketplace! :D

Ray joined us for svc too... so there were 7 of us...
Went to Bedok 85 for dinner... yah.. had a whole day of bread man.. hahaha. but nice la.. we made ourselves.. super cheap loh.. 2 loaves of bread costed $2... Tuna.. leftover from the last time. Brand new can la.. Eggs...took from my fridge.. I only bought Peach, Apples and Butter. Gave mum $10 to help me get the food when she went out..and no change back... Mmmm.. ahhaa.. so.. considereed i spent $10 ba... haha... for 6 people's breakfast cum lunch and tea break.. not too bad la.. ooh.. brought a 1.5l of Green tea there too... hahaha.. got main course (sandwiches), dessert (Fruit Salad) and Drinks (Green Tea)..what more can you ask for?? hahaha.....
Cheap and nice outing.. we can do it more often in future!! hahhaa..alternate weeks can go cycling.. nice exercise also..bbuutt..I'm a little little sunburnt le... kaoz.. :/

AAhhhh... i think that is it...

I can't believe i've been sleeping for 12 hours for 2 days...
Thursday.. I slept at 2plus on Wed nite... or rather.. Thursday morning..and I woke up at eplus.. on Thursday!! Kaoz... I've never done that.. a while more..and I think Mum will tear down my door when she comes back from work!!!!!!!!

Slept at 1plus on Friday morning....and I got up at 1plus on Friday afternoon..faint.
God... help me!!! Many times... I've said.. I'm gonna start work.. but looks like..nothing helps..

Gosh!! What's the world happening to me?? Where's the old, diligent Rachel!?!!??
Oh man!!! Help!!!

Back to the start... beginning of 2007... I must learn to be more disciplined.. where has my disciplined gone to??

I need to be more convicted.. Money no longer is the motivation...

We wanted to go Pastamania for buffet de.. but guess what???? NO MORE BUFFET le!!
Jul was also going there today!! haha.. so qiao.. she reached there 1st and told me no more le... faint..

I was on my way down..so.. in the end.. told my friends..hey.. we gotta change venue.. MMmm..
so... we changed to Plaza Sing and had Cafe Cartel instead. All time Favourite of mine!!
St. Louis Pork Ribs!! Never gets tired of it!! Favourite!! :D

Yah.. I queued for 45min!! When i went in... both of them still not yet arrive loh... Faint.. i waited for another 15min before WY came... and then XW came...
Had dinner.. chatted.. fellowshipped... and then left for our movie at 930pm.
Watched Night at the Museum.. Nice!!

At least some storyline.. and heartwarming too!! :D

We watched it at The Cathay. with UOB card...extra 12% discount.. each ticket only $8.50 on a Friday nite.. Hehehe..
Show ended at about 1150pm and we caught the last train back Yishun... yeah.. nice time of fellowshipping.. hehe..cool.. next time shall come out again.. :)

Yup... Just back from a wedding dinner at M Hotel.
Mmmm... not nice... food not nice.. no programs.. nothing..simple.. Emcee also no good..

Yup... Finally.. I get to blog it out... Mmmm....
Woke up.. 11plus.. went downstairs to get the rest of the stuffs thats needed for BBQ...
Came back home.. finished up the rest of the admin.. then Cherry and Nat came to help with the wrapping of corn and sweet potato..(what a waste.. whole bag hidden under the table.. uncooked at the end of the day!! Arggh...) Chen Yang came to help out too... and then Ee Rong and Chan Lee together with Tame as the "driver". hehe...

Left my place at about 3plus.. and off we went to East Coast.. Amazed by Tame's car. He has this system.. where it directs u where to go to get to certain place.. 'live' street directory. Kaoz man.. Cool!! Hahah... but may not necessary be zun.. haha...

Reached at 4plus... Mmmmm... saw faces.. so.. better shut up.. haaa...
Hang ard at the pit area.. unpacked and organized the food.. etc etc...
Program started about 6plus.. and God tested our faith TWICE!
haha...coz ..it drizzled twice.. :P

But thank God.. He knows we need the good weather.. We managed to finish the BBQ... and games.. and I think... most people had fun ba.. as the organizing committee..again..as always.. you dont really get to enjoy the whole thing.. I mean... when u are busy running ard to get things done..where got time to fellowship?? I thank God for the people that came... at least.. Jiawen came! yayy!!! Glad that she came.. and hope she enjoyed herself too... hehe.. :D
But.. sorry.. I didnt have much time to talk to you and fellowship with you... MMmm.. I'll make it up the next time k.. :D

Yup.. at the end.. most of the young people were chased home.. those under 17 to be more specific.. haha.. Mmm.. yah... I was almost chased home coz its late le.. Bbbuuutttt.. I havent eat leh.. the last BBQ.. i also never really eat.. that one crabstick.. one mouth of prata..and one hotdog?? don't count la.. this time.. I only had 1 satay... and.....a plate of bee hoon..that's all!!!

So i pleaded for a chance to cook for myself.. haha. and... at least my little request was granted.. so i happily cook some food and ate while I was cooking.. in the past... BBQ were much more relaxing.. no programs.. just.. cook and eat..
Normally... I'll be the BBQ-girl.. I'll stand there.. BBQ from start to finish.. and as always.. regardless of who I am BBQ-ing with... I'll be chased and asked and commanded to stop cooking and go eat... hahaha.. usually.. it doesnt work.. coz.. when it's left to others.. I'll only see black food! hahahaha.. So.. i rather cook them myself..and ensure everyone gets to eat good food! Hehehe.. And then.. someone will be there to feed me... oooh.. Mei Ling is a very good example.. She's usually the one to feed me.. during Science Club BBQ.. haha.. other times..other good friends will be there to feed me too.. ahhahaha... nice rite??
hahaha... then another will feed me drink... hahahah.. like a queen!! hahaha.. no la.. but.. i just can't leave the pit.. hehehe.. bonded to it!! haahaa.....

Yup... After games... food... after food.. Appreciation... haha..
Almost everyone was appreciated.. the ushers... the SLs... the CU & ACU...
hehe.. it was fun.. we ended the event with That's What Friends Are For.... hahha..

Nice to see everyone united together... enjoying themselves...
Got to see many faces too...people.. I never knew.. were in Group 4.. haha..
Somehow..there was some affinity.... hahahaha....

Yeah... Good outing.. Though it was a little short.. I've people telling me..the chalet more fun leh.. Yah.. coz..more games..and more days leh.. hehe.. this was only done in 4hours???
Be thankful la.. at least there's a Group Outing!! I've never been to one before this! hahaha.. :D

We knew each other when she was brought to church. She's now growing..at a tremendous speed. So glad that we can serve God together in the same church. We may not be in the same CG anymore. We'll be best friends for eternity and we will always be a treasured friend to one another. 2006!
Many first times....

March 2006 - 1st mission trip to Malang.. The best thing that happened. Made friends.. brought back Yul. Hahaha..she got integrated into our CG..and is growing.. Cool! :D

June 2006 - 1st time playing Guitar for CG! Sweat. It was supposed to be END JULY. Somehow, God sped things up.. and I realised... we dun always have to be up there to start doing things. When you are in half-way there, you can start doing it.. and along the way.. work it up there.. We don't have to be fully-equipped to be used. As long as there's a little seed... it can be put to use and with time, through watering, it can sprout forth to be a nice plant. Yup... hee.. Glad that I can be used in this way. God started preparing me since 1999! Hahaa... He knew the day would come.. I took a detour.. but I reached the destination nevertheless.. :) Thank You Lord, for using me...

Somewhere around the same time... 'promoted' to a helper in UM.. More responsibilities, more things to do.. but i enjoyed it! :D

November 2006 - 1st time doing Echo 1. Wooowww... sweat.. haha.. good learning experience... and memories to keep... haha...

Mmmm.... 1st time....having so many people with me... 1st time... calling so many people.. 1st time... being responsible for so many things at one go.....

It's been a great year! Things may not be all the way up... but...life's never smooth-sailing.. Sometimes, we go thru dark times and sometimes, we are just on the high... its our reaction and response to the situations that teaches us and help us to grow... :D

I thank God... I've been through it.. and still alive.. haha...
It's not been easy.. to let go of many things.. and to move on.... but i conquered it.. with God's strength... and have since moved on...

Haha.. Yep..
So.. we ended our fellowship at 11plus.. Haha..CG started at 6plus..and it still ended at the same time.. Cant believe it... CGL told me it'll end about 9pm.. Thank goodness I didnt change my mind about suggesting to return the car late. I can't imagine what would happen. Gosh.. haha... :P

Yep.. was glad I made a difference in someone's life.. Yul thanked me for what i did for her when she first came to Singapore.. hahah.. how i brought her ard, helped her to settle down... took off to accompany her for interviews... fellowshipped with her.. treated her.. haha... I almost forgotten all of that.. :P

This year's thanksgiving rather 'bland' compared to previous years.. It's normally a BIG EVENT and most IMPORTANT CG at the end of the year. People prepare gifts, cards, appreciation for the people that we really wanna thank and etc... not this year.. haha..at least not for me... I had a hard time...trying to think.. who and what I wanna thank in CG... it was just B-L-A-N-K... haha... Not good... I'm sure... some people helped...or made some difference... BUT.. I can't remember anything leh... ops.... I'm sorry.....
Can't really rem anything happening, happy.. or worth remembering... this is very bad.. Mmmm....

But..still.. i just know it was a heartwarming CG afterall, hearing all the various testimonies of how God blessed, helped everyone in the CG.. one common thing... i dun think anyone particularly thanked anyone????!!??!!
This is the 1st time.. i see such thing happening in CG...
往年, everyone would be thanking so many special people who played an impt role in their spiritual walk in the past one year.. how so and so called...prayed... blessed so and so... how this person helped that person... etc etc...
Don't see anything like that this year!!!!!?
Except for Yul..mentioning me??!!?? Or maybe there were.. and i forgotten or missed it??

Mmmmm.... but... still.. i guess everyone had fun fellowshipping at the end... we just chatted... ate.. and ate some more... haha...

Hopefully, next year will be better.. :)

But i do see people growing in the CG... People beginning to open up to others... being more pro-active.. that's good... taking more ownership of the group.. thats good... I dun have to be the only one doing it.. now..everyone is involved in one thing or another... goood....

Now's my turn to make effort to come back in.... and do something for everyone too..

God, please help me..and re-ignite my passion for my CG..... :)

MMm...have been wanting to blog about it since the day itself..but was too late..and too tired.. coz serving on Sun...External Traffic leh.. means reporting at 7am!!! Wanted to rest.. haha..was doing other stuffs too....so.. yah...its just seemed that it'll be a long blog which'll require a long time to finish.. so..the thought of it.. deterred me.. haha..

Okie.. here it is now.. Mmmmm....

Was out the whole morning.. Support at Expo... 10am... left at about 1245pm to pick up Kevin from the airport. My cousin, who went France for some sort of exchange program.. and he went to take some exams this time round..was there for a month plus i think.. Sigh.. i was telling hong.. if I had the money.. my LV wallet would be back with him liaoz.. haha... oh well.. next time maybe.. he'll be gone for a longer time though..might not be able to get the tax rebates then. haha...see how la.. :/
He's supposed to land at 1250pm. He sort of landed at that time.. Thank God for car. Hahah.. Thanks to 姐 for her car. Hehe.. supposed to get other things too..
Yah.. i reached about 130pm.. yah... wrong way.. sigh...
He came out at 150pm though. Wah...wait so long.. duhz..We wanted to go to the staff canteen at T1...but.. under renovation..so... mum suggested we go AMK to eat la... okie..seems like a better idea...
So Mum, Kevin and Uncle and little cousin came with me.. while my aunt, cousin, niece and maid took cab.
I can't believe it!!!!!! I dunno what i was focusing on.. i actually missed the TPE exit.. i was on 1st lane throughout..and prob listening to them talking... when I realisd.. it was when I saw ECP on the signboard...gosh............. I could have taken just 20min to reach AMK... faint... why?? Coz TPE very direct de... faint faint faint... So.. i exited by Rocher.. passed suntec.. to beach road... then KKH..then took CTE then to AMK... it took me 40min... kaoz!! Sorry 姐 for the petrol.. :p

So... one big round..and finally end up at AMK.. Faint..that was 245pm... faint faint...
Seldom this will happen..but it happened.. gosh!! Faint faint.. I really faint at my own sillyness... or lack of focus! Arrgghh....

Had a quick quick lunch..and rushed off to drop the syrups at my place... then off to Expo to return the car.. then take bus back home.. i was soooo tired.. i slept thruout the journey! haha...
When i woke up.. i saw 2 familiar faces! Haha.. Sum and Teng. Hahaa.. they were surprised to see me as well...
Sum: Ehh?? how come the owner in the bus?? Tot u reached home le??:
Me: Yah..supposed to.. but...... told her the whole story... aha..."

So went back.. had a quick shower.. from all the running about and all the paper cuts, I was hot and sticky loh.. hehe.. Then to practice my guit for the songs later... hehe...

Kelly was late. He was preparing gifts for the CG. Hee.. nice of him rite? Mmm....
Yah.. so.. practiced... and then we went for CG. CG started at about 6plus....
We had 3 games... led by Sum, Ling and Kelly. Haha...
I think I was involved last year at Admiralty. Hee.. :)
This year nothing..

Guess all had fun... haha..
Then a short sermon... and alot of sharing...among ourselves... Mmmm....
Suddenly.. I felt that I've lost touch... (this is something I've heard from many of my fellow ushers too.. Mmm...)
They seemed suddenly close?? warm?? not those intense kindda feeling.. at least not now.. just.. felt.. Mmm... they're close.. yeah... thats a good thing.... me?? no.... nothing.....
why?? why has it turned out this way????

Much as my inner self wanna make an effort to be with them... there's something that's deterring me too... sigh.... dunno...

Yah..but.. it was a nice thanksgiving CG too...
Could feel the warmth.. haha.. due to the many many big days.... events... havent really had CG at home for like 1month plus! haha.. it was a nice feeling to be with the CG again...
(Mmm...i realised.. i'm using.."the CG.." not..."my CG...")

Somehow.. I know i'm detached... i think.. they're trying their best.. to get me to join them... haha... and I'm like being difficult... making things difficult for them.. am i??
But.. if the heart doesnt feels belonged.. what to do leh?? How to make it feel belonged???
It wasnt like that.. My heart was 100% with them initially.. but since... things have changed...

When there's a leaving..can there be a cleaving.. yeah... I left CG...and cleaved to UM. Yah. i think so.. CG is important.. i know.. but.. but ... but... can you understand what happened?? what i went through??? i guess not....

I've not physically left.. its just the change of heart... Hah..
but well oh well... I guess... I have to make an extra effort in 2007... I gotta learn to strike a balance... i hope so... but.. my heart..for now.. is still with UM... sorry... I'll try.. my best...

Yup.. After CG, we had fellowship... everyone stayed & lingered ard... we had great food..good food.. Eugene's idea of making smoothies was really good! Everyone had fun drinking the various stuffs that were brought. We had grapes, strawberries, bananas, Yakult, milk, ice cream. You can blend any combinations you want! haha..
We tried a few.. in the end... I added in Oreo too! Hahaha.. it was nice!!... here's some shots...
