Finally. After a good night's rest, I can finally say that I don't feel so lethargic after all! Or was it the mental part that played a role?
Hehe.. I was offline rather early last night. I guess about 9plus? I think so. Did some reading.

Started on the Book Sherry gave me for my birthday present, titled "Just Like Jesus."
It looked nice and so thick that I had some problem tryin gto start reading it. Was feeling a bit empty last few days, coz I ain't got anything to read. Newspapers stopped delivery just before I went Israel and that means I'm not in touch with the current news once again. Had some problems trying to read the papers everyday sometime just before I left. And since there were so many of them left unread daily, Mum suggested to just cancel the order. Oh well, so be it. Since she's paying for the subscription. Heh. :p

So, I was thinking what I can read when I saw the book lying on my printer. Waiting to be read. Feeling a little guilty about being home so early and not getting anything fruitful done, I decided to take a peep at it. Boy, it was really a cool book man. Taught me a lot about what Jesus felt, did, seen, heard! Amazing.. Got convicted as well.. in many areas.

Brought it along with me today as well. And I've finished like slightly more than a third, less then half of the book. Haha.. Well, I only read it while travelling. Meaning, from Yishun to NUS, and from NUS back to Paya Lebar. And thats it. Well, probably can finish it by Friday, the journey to Cell Group is rather long, and that's provided I'm not meeting anyone along the way. Hee..
Sometimes, I just enjoy travelling myself when I have a good book in hand. Hope to finish it soon, so that I can learn all about it. Keke.. Perhaps I should start on See You At The Top by Zig Zigler after Just like Jesus..
And I've got another The Power of Simplicity that I've yet to touch. And I think it has been sitting there for 6 months. Think SL lent it to me back then when I was a little confused last December. Haha..
So its time to get back to more reading. And I think I'm missing alot on newspapers.. but I'm a little lazy to go back to it again. MMm.. shall see how. Maybe I need to re-schedule my timetable. So that I can have time for everything! Mmm...

Well, its 11:20pm now. Time to do some reflection and time to rest. Long day tomorrow.

Oh yah. Popular's 20% voucher supposed to expire today. And guess what? The outlets were closed at 4pm today! And that made me unable to get anything at all when Emily & I were there at 7plus after our dinner. Many onlookers were blur as well. Standing outside and peering through the tiny A3 poster that wrote. " We close early at 4pm today! " With some Celebrating 80th Anniversary fonts written in the background. So silly! How can you close early on the last day of promotion? How do you expect people to get their stuffs? I need to work leh.. And so did many other people. I just wonder how people can pack Popular daily. No matter which day, which time, there'll be loads of people hanging around inside Popular. No wonder its called Popular. I'm gonna complain tomorrow. And call them up. See what they say.. :/

I've got so much that I wanted to get. Need to replenish my stock of stationeries and stuffs for my operations.. haha.. Hope I'll get another day to shop till I drop.

heh. Back earlier on. I think I was home at about 5:40pm?
Supposed to have an appt at 6:30pm at Jurong Point. Yes. So far!
So, being Mum's last day at work today, I wanted to meet her for dinner.
So I postponed the appt. Well, he didn't tell me when he can meet me again. Just said that he preferred to meet today. Told him I can't. Haha. Bad eh? :p

I think I'm still in a tired mood. Or maybe I'm really facing the PC too much. I think I have to do something about it. Else, I think its gonna get bad! ;p

Oh yah, while we were back after dinner, passed by the shop where I got my 3 pairs of $10 Sandals few weeks or months back. One of it was spoilt. The heel broke on one of the occasion when I was in office. I brought it back to the shop, they asked to go return few days later. Went back, the boss only glued the sole back to the heel. I guess its with Superglue!! Urgh.. So i left it there, for a couple of weeks more, not having enough courage to wear it whenever I put my eyes on it.

One fine day, I decided to wear it. The moment I put my humongous feet in, i felt the heel giving way, again. So i brought it back to the shop again few days later.
So the woman asked me to come back in a week's time. I brought it there before I went Israel. So I passed by the shop earlier on, which is after like 3 weeks, So another lady passed the sandals to me, and taking a look at it, there wasn't any difference compared to its state 3 weeks ago!!! So I told the lady, the heel is already broken. How to wear?
I asked her to put her feet in to get what I meant. She tried it, and Ahhh.. she got what I meant.

So she told the woman..which is the lady boss i think. Both were speaking in some funny language, (yes, it sounded funny to me) and they decided to call up the boss.
The lady called on her hp and passed it to the woman, who passed it to me eventually.

me: halo?
Boss: HALO?
me: the heel is broken how to wear?
Boss: HALO??
silence...
Boss: HALO??
me: (not very happy with his attitude) THE HEEL is broken, how to wear?
Boss: Broken, broken lah.. why u buy shoes so mafan??????
me: *stunned* *blur*
Boss: AIYAH, wait till i go to the shop then see how lah.. hang up hang up....
*dead tone*..................
me: *furious and angry*
me to the woman: wah.. talk like that one ah??
the woman asked what he said.
me: he said, y u buy shoes so mafan one?
Mum also can't stand it by then. So she just said... forget it forget it.. and she started to walk away.
I also told them, aiyah, forget it. forget it. We'll not buy any shoes from you in future! What kind of business is this? U can't even change a new pair of $10 sandals for me!
And we walked off... and I was really cursing them!
Urgh.. I was really furious earlier on. I can't understand how they can do business like that. And what kind of attitude is that? The woman sits there whole day long, with a super long black face!! Urgh...
Anyway, I'm going to repent. Shouldn't have said those things. I knew it. Yet I still said it. I was really too hot then!!! Urgh.... God, please change me and give me a heart of patience!

But I'll never buy from that shop again! I have my customers' rights!!!!:|

Alright. Its almost 9pm now. And I guess I need to do something more productive. Oh! Gotta pray for the prayer focus!! :Þ

Alright. I've been online since I got home. And after a nice shower of course! I can't stand not bathing once I get home. Don't wanna dirty my chair, my room. Its so dirty out there, and bringing back all the dust.. Eeeeeeeekkkkss.. Can't stand that. Unless I'm really tired or when I just am so lazy. But that is so unlikely. Only Sunday afternoons back from Church will be a little likely. Haha.

That reminds me what Pastor preached sometime ago about Conviction vs Preference.
Is being clean a conviction? I guess it is. Just that I'm flexible enough to close one eye when I really can't be bothered. Now, there seemed to be a contradiction. But then again, 99.99% of the time, I'll bathe once I get home. Heh. :D

Mmm.. Did more changes to my blog. And I guess I'm much satisfied now. Hope you like it as well! :D

Supposed to have an appt at 8:30pm. Prior to that, I had an appt at Alexandra. 4pm. And it lasted till about 5:15pm. Good. *clap* *clap* *clap* :)
Took a bus to Commonwealth Mrt, took a train to Tampines for my 8:30pm appt.
Sms-ed Ms Foo when I reached to inform her that I'm already there, and asked her to call me when she reach, or if she could meet me earlier.
Then came a good reply. She can be there at 7:30pm! Good news.
So I walked one round in Tampines Mall, and then to find food. It was almost 7pm then.
Cafe Cartel caught my eye.
Yes. Its the St. Lois Ribs again. *slurp* ;p
Just after I ordered and paid and took my free-flow bread, Ms Foo called.

Foo: Alice, I'm so sorry. I'm still stuck in office. Can I meet you on Wednesday instead? I'll be on leave on Wednesday.
Me: Oh, so you can't meet me today?
Foo: Yah. So sorry. I'll treat you to dinner this time. Maybe I'll cook for you.
Me: Erm, let me check. Wednesday what time?
Foo: Anytime. Coz I'll be in my new place. So I can meet you anytime. My husband will be there as well.
Me: Okie. 6:30pm-7pm then.

Yup. So I've been "dua". Had she called just 5 min earlier, I could have saved $11. I ate there coz sort of out of no choice. Had I known, I would have taken a bus back to eat Nasi Lemak! Haha..

Anyway, its pretty normal in this line. And its not the first time that she has stood me up anyway. But since she's so sincere in wanting to meet me, or rather, I'm rather persistent in calling her, we shall meet on Wednesday then. (I haven't got a choice, do I?)

So, here I am, since I was home, editing and revamping my blog. Yes. I've been doing it for the past 4-5hours!! Cannot make it ah... hehe...

Anyway, I have to sleep earlier tonight. I must really start work proper tomorrow. Couple of appointments and I have to be on the highest alert. And I can't keep telling myself that I'm tired and I'm still jet-lagging. This excuse doesn't work anymore.
I have to get started. NOW!!!
Father, I pray that you'll give me the strength I need daily to do my work and to accomplish more for your Glory.
Let there be open doors wherever I go, be it in the area of career or evangelism... May Your Anointing be upon me and may I be so sensitive to the Holy Spirit's leading. Amen.

Heh. I did had a sleep. Till about 9pm. And to satisfy my empty stomach, and Mum's, I cooked some instant noodles. Yes, we had it again this sunday. Just like last sunday.
But its a different flavour. Had Mee Goreng this time. Heh. :p

I know its not healthy, but not too much of a choice when you are hungry and lazy at the same time. hee. :p

Alright. Had a little revamp of my blog. Rather satisfied now. Though not yet. I wanted to change some stuffs. But didn't seem to be able to. Shall check it out again when I next have the time! Haha.. :)

Back from church for about half an hour now. Max had his water baptism today!
Praise God for that. And Congratualations!! :D

Another committed soul added to His Kingdom. Thank God we didn't had to wait long. The service started with Service 4's baptism. And thats ours! Max was second or third in the line. And hence, we were done pretty fast! Hee.. :p

Did some amendments to my blog template. Keke. A little color change and still trying to figure how to change other stuffs, but I'm still lazy to learn and to find out more about it. Haha. Will leave it as it is for now.. till i get sick of it again. Haa..

Mum's back, and she's not having dinner. And I'm hungry. MMmmm.. dunno how later. Mmm..
tired as well. Had a little nap in the Cafe earlier on. Probably like 15 minutes? But it was rather refreshing. Heh.

Haha.. Just back from Day After tomorrow.
And before that was a manicure session and before that was Around The World in 80 Days.
Yes. I watched "Around" again. Heh.
Its free this time though. Was out with Lydia, Max & Kiat. And its always nice to go out with them. Coz most of the time, Kiat & Max would offer to pay. hahaa.. *opps* :p

Max paid for the tickets, though Kiat wanted to treat us to it. But Lido's ticketing counter doesnt accept NETS. Hence, Max generously fished out his $50 note. Hehe.. Thanks Max! :D
Kiat paid for the drinks and popcorn, about $10.
And Lydia & I paid for our dinner. Didn't want to spend on the guys. They are nice enough and not as if they are earning alot. Lydia & me paid about $10 each. At Burger King. Heh. We were all not too hungry and decide to just have some snacks. But Kiat had a double whopper meal leh.. thats big! hee.. :p

After dinner, Max left for somewhere. Lydia & I had a Manicure appt at PerilNailz at Far East at 7:30pm and Kiat went somewhere to rot while waiting for us.
I finished at 9pm and rushed off. Lydia wasn't done yet and she'll meet Kiat after that. I had to go. Coz Mum's waiting for me at Northpoint! We had a show to catch at 9:25pm. Thank God for MRT. Haha. It takes me just 20 minutes to reach home from Orchard. :)

Rushed to Yishun 10 and then collect the tickets, to the washroom and to the theatre. Good show I had. Many revelations as well. People just can get so stubborn when you tell them facts and they don't listen to you.

In the show, this boy, Sam, was told by his father to stay indoors during the storm and not to go out. All the people had been hiding in the National Library. Just when they spotted people outside walking about in the snow, trying to seek safety elsewhere, they tried to follow them as well. Sam tried to tell the police officer that his father, being a climatologist, has already advised that they stay indoors and not go anywhere. Or they'll freeze to death. But the police officer felt that they'll just wait for death if they stayed on. So most of the people left. Except for a few.

Well, you guessed it. The masses that left together with the police officer, died in the end.. it was too freezing cold.
And the boy, his father promised him that if he stayed where he is, he will definitely go to his rescue.. the father promised the son..
Yes. The father kept his promise. Withstanding all impossibilities and the cold freezing weather, he walked his way from Washington to Mahanttan's National Library. And he found his son and a few others locked in a room, where all the surrounding area has already been frozen to ice. He opened the door, and his son and the rest were sleeping inside.

Revelation: As I was watching the show, I just had some revelations from it. The masses that chose to walk out of the library just coz there were some other people also doing it were just like the people in the world today. We have already been told that if you do this and stay put, I'll come to your rescue. Obedience is the word. And trust. Faith. The boy knew that his father would come to his rescue. Even when others doubt it. He knew that his father said that he would come and he believed deep down in his heart that his father would. And likewise for the father. Even when all hopes were gone. As they were walking to Manhanttan, they saw corpses almost everywhere. Even his companion feels that Sam might be dead. But the father said, "I made a promise to my son, and I will do it."
He did it. And it was so touching in the end. Both who believed in each other were glad that both trusted in each other. They hugged each other and nothing else was needed. They didn't say anything. They only hugged each other. Very tightly.

That is our God. My God. He fulfills what He has set out to do, what He promised. Jesus would come again. And He'll judge all. Would I be willing to do what He has commanded me to do? Would I obey? Would I trust and believe that He will fulfill His promises?

Yes. I trust in the Lord. And I know that He'll come.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life" John 3:16

So many people chose to go the other way. They think that they can have a better idea and better chance of surviving on their own. They refused to listen to the people has the expertise. In this case, suddenly, I just feel that Sam is like Jesus in that scene. He was telling people what to do, but none believed him. They rather walk out of the library in search of something hopefully better, when the place where they are, is the safest place to be in...

Sam's father, Jack, has told Sam to stay put in the Library, and not try to get outside, or he'll freeze to death. Sam knew that his father is a professor in that field and has the expertise. Who else can he listen to other than someone whom he knew that he could trust in? God send Jesus to the world, to preach the Gospel, and to tell mankind to repent and trust in Him, believe in Him, but most refused to listen, to what is true.

Its just so sad. People always think that they are right. God says, come to me, that you might live. People chose to go away. I can be better elsewhere. Human. Man. Thats why we have all fallen short of His glory.

But I thank God that I'm now a new creation. The old things have passed. And I am made new. With His salvation. Jesus's sacrifice. His blood and body saved me. And I thank God for my salvation. :D
Hallelujah!!!

And even as i'm moving on to a higher level in my walk with God, I pray that God'll strengthen me daily, cause my being to be so sensitive to the Holy Spirit and that I'll have ears that'll hear and eyes that'll see.. Hallelujah!

Had a half day work today. Was so tired that I really cant make it to wake up early anymore. Hence, I slept in late. Till about 11am and I had to get up coz I have an appt at 12pm. At Northpoint! Haha.. so it was indeed a Blessing. Keke. :p

Then to NUS. Met up with Ms Teh to pass her the policy and then Mr Loo, and then Mr Ng. Not too bad. Mr Ng going away and looking for some insurance plans to keep him protected while he's away in the States for 3 years to do his post-doctorate! *wah* :O

Then I had so much time that I went round searching for a Manicurist. And I think I must have been mad. I went round the whole of Clementi to look for one, failed. And I called up city search aka 1900-7777777 which costs 60 cents per call, on top of the normal outgoing minutes, and I called Starhub's 100 which is 30 cents per call. I think I'm really crazy. Managed to find one at Ginza Plaza. And guess what?
Yes. I took a cab there. Rather near actually. $3.20.
Went to look for the shop. They were rather packed. And the lady boss wanted to turn me away coz they were really packed today. But she was kind enough to ask me to go back at 5:30pm. I walked around, got myself a bread and then went back to wait at the shop.

There were about 4-5 manicurists, some newer than the rest. And I think they were rather slow. The lady boss started on me at 5:45pm and I wasn't done will about 7pm. Just pedicure! Can you imagine?? I would have gotten more done elsewhere. Heh. Linda can get it done faster for me.. miss her.. But kindda more ex to get her to my house. And dun wanna dirty my house leh. hehe. :p

Met up Sherry, Sum & Teng for dinner at Clementi's Mac. And yes, I took a cab there again as well. Its been a long time since I take cab like nobody's business. Hah. And there was a $1 surcharge. I knew that. But I haven't really got a choice. I'd be real late. Heh. Left for Cell grp at about 7:30pm. Took a train to Buona Vista and then bus 92. Not that late. Though many people were already present. Bro Jon still practising with the Emmily & Andy.

Good meeting today. Could feel the presence of God right from the start. Amazing. Its different when you come prepared. Its just so awesome. I was a little tired though. But still, I lasted through! Praise the Lord! :D

Good message today. And I must say we must really be committed to things and purposes that God has placed in our lives.

2. Good Spritual habits
3. God's purpose in our lives

Do what we are supposed to, and God'll do the rest. We sow what we reap. If we don't sow, how do we expect to reap anything?

Talked to Bro Jon about ministry as well. I'm going to join... Usher Ministry. Mmmm.. God wanted me to. I believe its gonna be a time of lotsa learning and humbling to do. More of humbling I believe. Always pray that God'll mould me and change me to what He wants me to be. For the creator knows best what His creation can be!

Exciting life lies ahead and more learning and spending time required.

Woke at about 9plus again.
So tired. Think I'm tired everyday. Am I still having jet-lag? Or am I really tired?
Probably both. Considering that I sleep in the wee hours. Haha.

Went to develop my last roll of film and waited for it to be ready. Another $12.25 gone.
Reached office at almost 12:20pm. Didn't have lunch again today. Wasn't hungry since I had breakfast at almost 10am. Didn't want to eat for the sake of eating and was too lazy to walk out as well. And didn't want to spend extra money.

Annie supposed to come at 12:30pm. But she overslept and woke up at 11:45pm. Gosh! She can really sleep. She wanted to come tomorrow. But I have appointments whole day tomorrow and won't be in office. She said she'll be coming then. Came at about 3pm with her boyfriend. Think he's a rowdy person. They both looked at the pictures and seemed like her bf has been a believer longer, or has family who are also believers. Mmm.. dunno.

They chose to have a keychain each. And sold her the book on The Holy Land. The bf paid for it. And he drives a car. Hee.. dunno what Annie likes about him, but anyway, not my problem. Haha.

Did some calling, made some appt, and got tired and lazy again. What I'll call the laziness syndrome. Haha.. Think I'll have to get my body back to the right shape before I can really go on full gear once again. This can't last too long or I'm going to get worse! Lord, help to to build up my body and renew my mind daily with your anointing and power!! :D Hallelujah!

Left office at about 6:20pm together with Lynn and Yanling. Went to Marina Square, and met Samuel for dinner. He gave me a treat for my birthday! So nice and sweet of him. Thank God for this brother. :)
He offered to send me back after dinner indeed, I feel so blessed! To have a free dinner and a free ride home! My breakthroughs and blessings are coming! I can feel it so near! Haha.. Hallelujah! :D

Bathed and changed and it was like almost 11pm. Its 12:30am now. Gotta go after I finish this last game with Sayang.

Got up late today! And I forgot that I had to pay the cake for SL at Prima Deli before 9am! I woke up at 8:40am I think. *gasp*

Happily and sleepily bathed and changed, and I saw the 2 missed calls on my handphone and I was like "oh!" I immediately call them up and the girl answered my call.
I hastily explained that I overslept and was bathing when she called. She confirmed that I would be going to pay for the cake and hung up. Went to Mama's stall, had a pack of nasil lemak,[oh! I just had that for dinner last night!] and Mum was already closed. So she waited for me to finish my pack of nasil lemak before she made her way back home, and me to work.

Took the bus, alighted just right in front of Prima Deli, and kept reminding myself that I had to go and pay up! :p
I wanted to use card and she asked "You have UOB card? Got 10%" Of cuz I have!
Heh. So the cake was $34-10% + $3 delivery charge=$33.60.

Got 2 small boxes from her, in case there'll be any leftovers.
Went to office. Bought a birthday card from Popular. $8.80-10%=$7.90
Dunno what I do also. Before I knew it, it was 2:10pm. And SL came to office. Oh no. Cake not here yet.. waited.. waited.. and waited.. 2:30pm.. 3:00pm.. the rest were also asking me where's the cake? I called up the girl twice to check with the driver. 3:30pm... still not there.. finally.. I think he came at about 4:00pm!!! I even checked with SL what time she's leaving office and I think it was that obvious that she knew something is going on and that we're expecting something to be delivered.. Prob she guessed that its flowers or maybe she knew it was a cake that we were waiting for. I checked with her last night whether she'll be in office today and what time she'll be in office etc.. haha.. the worst surprise I ever had for somebody.. But not much of a choice. Her whereabouts are not that predictable. We all have too flexible schedule and she's a busy person as well. Haha.. So finally when the cake arrived, we sang her a Birthday song, cut the cake, took some photos and everyone was much more relaxed. Hahah.. especially me I guess. So anxious all the while. And when the cake really arrived, I was in fact rather nervous. For what? I dunno. Heh. :p

But am glad that I finished my 7th roll of film from Israel! Heh. So I can bring it for developing tomorrow. And can get it by tomorrow evening? Or mum could get it for me as well. Heh. Or shall I develop it at the office? MMm.. so that at least I can get to see it asap. MMmm..

Left office at about 5pm. Went for my free trial facial at The Adelphi.
Its an aromatic facial. Ok lah. Not extraction nor steaming. Just massaging and rubbing of essential oils, which is the trend now. Everyone is talking about aroma this & aroma that! :|

Didn't really like the customer service of SLIMCARE. Not good. Wanted to do a body massage initially. But they were full. And were rather nasty people as well. So i left, in search of one. There were soooo many different spa, facial and body salons. One after another, I was rejected. Full. Need to make appointments.
Fine. Went to Bioskin. Guess what?
"I need to let you know that we don't have aromatic full body massage here. All other outlets execept here."
*faint*
So I walked down further, and there was this little shop in a little corner. Didnt look too appealing. But I went in nonetheless. Previous prices I checked out were $55, $88. Mostly, its $55. I asked the lady the price. "$45."
me: how long is it?
her: 1 hour.
me: If I want it now, can I?
her:yes. I'm available now.

looked at my watch, its 7pm. Supposed to meet Peiwen at 7:30pm. But she mentioned that she hasnt finish her work and can't leave early. Fine. I'll take it.

Yipeeeeeee!!!!!!! Finally get to enjoy my well deserved MASSAGE!! Heee... :D

Changed and lie down. She came in. And it started! Cool!!! And relaxing.
And it just showed how bad my body posture was and how much I have been using the computer! :/

She was a rather nice lady. Her shop at B1. Few shops next to BioSkin. She's a malay. And she didnt pushed me any products. In fact, I was the one that asked if she has a package?
10 sessions and u get 2 free. 12 sessions for $450. Quite a good bargain. And you can share with your friends. She understands that it'll take a while to finish 12 sessions even if you do it once a month. And I guess she understands the theory of when you bring your friend, she has more publicity as well. Haha...

Nevertheless, she's still a nice lady. $45 well spent. And I pampered myself today. $45 and I got a facial and massage. Shiok! :D

Met up with Peiwen after that. Had dinner at Northpoint. It was 8:45pm. Showed her my Israel pictures. She wanted to take a look at the plans for whole life.. so printed some for her to see.. and it was soon 10pm. The foodcourt was closing. So we shifted to Mac'Donalds. Explained to her and talked till 11:20pm. Then I walked back with her. And then I walked home. Heh.

Rather a good day spent. Hee :)

Guess what? I got up at 12:45pm today. Mum called at 8plus and asked if I wanna go down to her stall, (as I'm usually down for breakfast) coz she's closing soon.
Told her I'm not going down, and continued to sleep.

Could smell the not so nice aroma of her chilli as she made the sambal.. :/
But nothing can stop me from sleeping. Hah.
At about 10am, she tried to wake me again. And asked if I'm going to work. Told her no..
And continued on my journey.. to sleep.. haha...

Some time later, I could hear the cracking sound of the eggs against the bowl, Yes, Mum is baking Pandan Chiffon. I tried to hide under the pillows and continued to sleep. That was almost 12pm.

Got a few sms in between. I even answered a call and still, I strived to sleep. Haha..
At about 12:35pm, Cindy sms and asked if I'm awake.. okie..thats the last straw... so I got up! Heh..

Brushed my teeth and had lunch with Mum. Returned back at about 1plus. Supposed to meet Cindy for lunch and go swimming or Gym. But due to the fact that I was too lazy, we cancelled it. It was almost going to rain anyway. Ohh. come to think of it, it didn't seemed to rain at all today. Heh.

Then it was on the screen for the rest of the day. Heee.. all the way till 6plus when Cindy asked if I wanted to have dinner. And waited till 8:15pm before I saw her.
Had Nasil Lemak opposite my block. Then met with Shuying. She came from work to see my pics and also asked her to choose a souvenir.

Reached my place at about 9:30pm I guess. She even had a wash at Cardinal. Keke.
Praise God. Managed to shared some stuffs with her. And I think it was a pretty good time spent talking to her. At least I think I shed more light to her. And I lent her my mini Bible aka my first Bible. :D

She asked about why we need to believe in God? Y we have no choice? Why people who choose to believe in other God won't go to Heaven? And her last question was, Why tongues? Hehe. With God's presence and leading.. I answered her, and also I felt led to open up my Bible. So I reached for it and flipped the pages with her, and she read as well. Praise God! :D

She asked many questions and mostly, its how other people will look at her and how her friends who are non-believers might shun from her or look at her differently. Anyway, I'm glad I managed to let her see from a different point of view and at least, now I think she is more open. Hallelujah!! :D

She just sms me to tell me the Bible I lent her is same as the one her friend gave to her years ago. And I asked if she wanna join me for service this sunday...
Guess what? She said.. haha.. confirm again k? what time is it on sun rite?
Phew!! Thats a positive reply!! Hallelujah!
I pray that God'll touch and open her heart more and that I believe by faith that she'll come this sunday! :D

Hallelujah!! So.. after all the resting, its not that bad. At least I've done something more fruitful. And thank God for that! :D

Playing a few game of minesweeper flags with Cindy and Sayang now.. and probably I'll do my QT soon and then to bed. Gotta work tomorrow and its SL's birthday today!

Got up at 7am. Earliest day since I came back.. :)
Had to, no choice. Else I'll be late for meeting. :/
Got ready and went down to Mum's stall. Got 2 packs of Nasil Lemak and left to wait for Ben to come and pick me up! Sms him last night to check if he has his car back and Praise God! He had. Hee.. So I get to hitch a ride. Keke. :p
In return, I just treat him to breakfast. Thats our deal all the time.
He might be selling his car. So no more rides in future liaoz.. Sob Sob.

I was also carrying loads of stuffs today. Souvenirs from Israel, Dried fruits, Chocolate, and my windbreaker. Thank God Ben is there to help! Haa..

Reached office about 8:40am and only Shanice and a few others were there. Had our breakfast and then the others strolled in slowly. Saw SL!! Hee.. so glad to see her. Then I passed her the souvenir and the dark chocolate! Hee..

Meeting started at 9:05am and it was the most terrible meeting I ever had. I was dozing off practically all the time. It ended at about 11:15am. Can you imagine? Gosh.. AO must be mad! Heh. :p

So paiseh.. but I think he'll understand lah. I just got back last Friday leh. Really tried my best to dong already.. but his lectures too.............(whats the word to describe?) for me... hehe... :p

Talked to Lynn and Yanling a little and showed them the pictures. Sharon liked the T-shirt. Thank God! Hee.. Its rather a nice T-shirt and the more I look at it.. the more I like it.. hehe.. Should have bought more of that. But I was really rather broke towards the end. So, can't help it. Hee..

It was then lunch time. So Shanice, SL & me went for lunch at the Fish Coffeeshop. Had Minced Pork Kway Teow and it didnt taste that nice today. Not sure if its due to the fact that I didn't eat it with chilli padi or what. Heh.

Back to office after lunch and did some calling. Dialled about 30 over calls.. 16 Reached and 4 appts.. hehe.. not too bad for a start.. Praise God! :D

Packed up and left office at about 5pm. Went to Plaza Sing to pass Lina their Traval Insurance. They going for their honeymoon and going to Europe man. Cool!! :D

Hee.. Then met up with Cindy to go Carrefour to look for DVD player. She wanna get one and I dun mind taking a look. According to her, there's something that costs $80++.. But we couldn't find any that's within that budget. Sigh.. I bought a DVD during Israel trip. And guess what? I have no DVD player at home! Haha.. silly me right? Got a DVD just coz its of a better quality. Regardless if I have a player for it! Hah. Silly. Well, I told them that I'll get a DVD player for it if I can't find a DVD player at home! haha.. funny me rite? Heh. :p

Anyway, we went to Sakae for dinner and then to GV Marina. Met up with Sister Sharon, then came Bro Jon, then Emily & Max & then Kenneth. We watched Around the World in 80 days. Starring Jackie Chan as lead actor and Karen Mok as supporting actress I think. Rather interesting and funny show I would say. Quite worth watching. Just don't like the part where they all bowed down to their Jade Buddha. Jackie risked his life just to steal the jade buddha from the bank of london and to put it back to his hometown and meanwhile, made use of the inventor who placed a bet to travel the world in 80 days and if he succeeded, he'll take over the post of the minister of science in the Royal Academy of Science. heh. Think its more of a comedy and we really had a good laugh. You can literally hear everyone laughing at the funny & silly scenes. Hehee.. :D

My last show was The Passion of The Christ.
So its been quite a while. 2 months at least. Since I last watched a movie. Mum wanna watched The Day after Tomorrow. Maybe I'll ask if she wanna catch it tomorrow. Heh. She said to watch it after I come back. Nearly forgot about it and many people had commented that its a rather good show. So I shall catch it soon before it goes off screen. Hee..

Somehow during the show, I had a strange feeling and I was praying that Jackie Chan would accept Christ as well. He'll definitely make a deep impact to the Nations and it'll be really wonderful if he can come to know God. I'll pray for him.. :)

Just had a few games of minesweeper with Cindy and she's gone to grab a bite.. I might be turning in soon.. its getting late. Unless she comes back fast... its 1:56am now...

Woke up late today! Oh man..
Guess I'm still jet-lagging. I got up only at 835am.
And that was after Emily gave me 2 missed calls and then she finally called my house.
Jumped from my bed and got myself ready. And I knew that I had to take the cab. No way out! :/

So much after spending loads during the trip. I've spent about $1000 in cash, on top of the $3300 that was paid for the trip. Gosh.. :S

But God is good to me. I was praying in the cab that "God, please stretch my dollar and maybe let the cab driver have a good heart to charge me lesser."
I can't remember what the cost is it to reach church.. but I was thinking probably about $15.

As the cab waited at the traffic light before turning to church's entrance, the cabby asked,"How? Is it late or not?"[I had asked him to try to be fast]
I told him,"Abit lah, but its ok."
The meter was reading $12.30 by then and I was digging into my wallet to get the loose change. Then he said, "$12 can already."
I was delighted man. Deep down in my heart, I was thinking, what? did I hear correctly? How many times would a can driver charge you lesser? It might happen, but not freuquently and not unless he made a mistake by making a wrong turn!
I was just praising God and thanking Him for answering that small little prayer of mine! :D

Oh ya, even when I was waiting for the lift to go downstairs earlier on, I was praying that a cab would come soon, so that I wont have to wait too long and be late. And I guess I didn't have to wait for longer than 1 minute when the cab came. It was indeed God-send! Heee... Hallelujah! :D

Service was cool today as well. Could really sense the strong presence of God even during Praise and all the way till worship. Was a little tired during service but I'll never fall asleep when its Pastor Kong preaching.. hehe.. :p
Its forever that exciting. But I'll still love to sit at the 3rd row right in front, where I can really join in lifting up the atmosphere and to be submerged into the presence of God... Hopefully the day will come again.. since we are not doing much in bringing people to join us after prayer meeting.

Had a short discipleship session after service. Shared a little about my experience in Israel. Indeed, its a wonderful one that no words can really describle how I feel. A regret is that I didnt read the Bible faithfully everyday in Israel. Most of the days, I was soo tired that I was really completely knock out after writing my diary... Mmmm... priority... but I wan to remember where we went to and what we learnt.. so after writing.. most of the time I'll read the Bible, but some days, I just knock out. We've been to so many places and walked so much daily that it was a rather tiring trip. But fulfilling and enriching one! Amen!

Thank God for lettting it come to pass and for the blessings that He has given me... Hallelujah!! :D

Still a bit lazy to post the happenings in Israel.. I'll try to do it soon.. keke..
Gotta spend time with God now... and gotta work tomorrow liaoz!! :D

Been home whole day.
Supposed to go Cell group today, but Bro Jon sms to say that I can be excused as I went to Israel. So i just took a break. Took a nap from 12-5pm. And was still a little groggy when I got up.

Cindy came over at 6plus. Showed her the photos and we talked a little. Went down together with mum at about 9plus to 10pm. And then Cindy went home.

I came back about 12am. Saw Sheevonne online and chatted with her a little. And its 2:26am now! And I have to get up at 7:30am tomorrow.
I better get going before I can't get up tomorrow. Its still rather tiring and still in a holiday mood I guess. But I'll have to work harder coz I've gotten too many breaks too soon. Heh!

Need to spend time with God as well..... Nitez.... :D

Too tired to write anything now. Yes. Its 3am in the morning and here I am still blogging. Emily's sound asleep. Yes. She went to pick me up at the airport with her hubby and my mum! :D
So sweet of them! :)

Oh yes. Dad went to send me off at the airport when I left 2 weeks ago. Heh. He went to AMK earlier. And when mum called, he made his own way to the airport.

So fast! 2 weeks gone.. just like that! :p

Its 3:00pm now. And I'm leaving my house in probably less than an hour.
Dad went out just now. I wondered if he still wanna send me off. Coz he wore his favourite pair of shoes out. And seems like he's not just going downstairs! MMmmm..
He was supposed to send me off. I think due to some unforeseen stuffs, he might not be going after all. Sob Sob.. :~<
I'll keep you updated if he does send me off at the airport eventually. But that'll be 2 weeks time! :D

Back from Church at about 2:15pm I think. Packed my bag and last stuffs, and locked up the luggage bag with the small little lock that costed me $1.50. :/
Haversack is almost done as well. Oh. Must remember the water-bottle later on.

Mum is still in church. Guess she'll be back around 3:30pm. And then we can almost leave for the airport. Flight's at 6:50pm. Taking SQ. Terminal 2. Pray that God's hands will be upon all that is flying off today. And that there'll be no delays and there'll be smooth transitions for all the flights. :D

Alright.. I gotta bathe and get ready..

Back from wedding dinner some time ago. About 1045pm i guess.
Think this is one of the worse dinner I've been to.
Don't feel welcomed. And food's bad.
The groom is too "blockwood"! Urgh!
Mum was the one that brought them together. And we were thrown at a little corner. Though its near the main entrance. But still felt left out.
Oh well! :/

Waited for my favourite! Drunken Prawns! Haha..the best and most fresh item on the menu tonight. Haha. Had 3! Oh ya. There's only 6 adults and 2 children at my table, including mum & me. Meaning to say, we had all we wanted the whole evening. And there were leftovers most of the time. Eee.. not nice one! :<

Think I'm feeling a little nauseous now. Urgh! :(
Took a cab back and changed and here I am again.
Sigh. Got hooked on the game I played with Sally earlier in the afternoon. Minesweeper Flag. Heh. Rather interesting. But no one to play with me now. Sally's not online leh. :(

Though the clock on my right bottom corner says 12:00AM, I don't feel sleepy tonight. Maybe I'm too excited! I'm flying off tomorrow evening. 650pm flight. And thats almost like 18 hours later!! hehehe...

Mmm.. dunno what to say... probably I'll see if I can really find someone to play with me! Heee.... till tomorrow!! Guess I'll drop another entry before I leave home for the airport tomorrow! :D

Shared my testimony about last Sun. Hee.. surprised that Bro Keith and Bro Eng Kiat actually bothered to ask me for more details after Cell. Hee.. appreciated their concern! :)
I shared a real short one cuz Huizhen says that I'm usually rather long-winded. Hahaha. So this time round, I cut it real short. And to think that they'll ask me for details! heee...

Oh. Cell celebrated my birthday last night as well. Hee.. And Bro Keith's. His is on the 5th June. Meaning, oh its today!
K. Just sent him a sms. :)

Yah.. so had a small little fruit cake from Breadtalk. Nice nice.. so pretty.. but a little too sweet.
For present, I received a book from Sherry. Thanks!
Titled "Just Like Jesus" by Max Lucado.
And got a big bag, which has a document inside, and a umbrella. Thats from Cell's fund. Hehe.. Emily bought it. MMmmm. liked the document bag a lot! Hee.. many many compartments and its expandable! Meaning, if I had a little too many stuffs, I can open another zip to "expand" the bag. Cool!! :)

Yup.. and so thats last night.

Got up at 10plus this morning. And Mum was already back home. She closed shop at 9plus! Good business.. hehe..
And then I had a little chat with her, till about 1135am.
Then i got my butt moving and vacuum and mop the floor.
The sky looks gloomy and mum says that she'll change the bedsheet herself tomorrow. Hee.. for once.. i dun have to do that.. hahaha..
And then dun have to change mine, since I wont be sleeping on it for 13 days. Mum says that she'll change for me when I'm back!!! *touched* :D

Went down to meet Mum at about 1pm. Had my brunch and then got some grocery and then back home. And here I am again. Gotta pack my bag again, ensure I haven't left anything out! And then gotta attend Wedding Dinner tonight.

Mm... Mum is nagging me to pick something to wear tonight. And I gotta check my luggage again. Sigh.. so messy.. and feels not so right. Dunno if I should bring more or less.. hahahaa...

Still... its exciting... Might post another entry tonight. Maybe tomorrow before I leave. Else, it'll be on the 18th!!! Gosh!! Real exciting!! :D

Suddenly feel so sleepy. No.. Actually it was since a long while ago. While I was in the office.
Was lethargic while I was packing stuffs and sorting out all the documents. Dunno why.
Even Lynn noticed and asked if I was ok. Was it coz I have an appt in the evening. Haha..
I told her no appt! Just tired! Hmm..
I guess thats what you'll call "in a holiday mood"!! hahaha..

Supposed to have 3 appt today.

1st appt:
Reached Dr Lim's office at 1030am. And I thought I'll be late. :/
And he wasn't there when I reached. There was a student waiting in his lab when I was there. And he was asking me where is Prof Lim, when I was also asking him. haha. He made an appt with him. 1030am as well. Oh well, I was thinking,"He must be not serious about this at all!!"
But to my surprise, probably 10 minutes later, I heard his footsteps coming in and he was talking to that student. I was a little bored and was browsing through last Saturday's papers lying on the table. I quickly fold them back and sat there staring at the door.
Dr Lim opened the door, saw me and said," Oh Alice, I thought it was 4pm? Thats why I took my own sweet time!"
Hee.. that was nice. He remembered my name! And then the student disappeared while he went in to take something out, supposedly to give to the student. He commented that the student is crazy. Haha..

So we talked and then I left at about 1130am. Rather fast. And his budget: $5000/mth!
Almost fainted! Haha. More homework to do. But that can wait till I return to work on 21st. Heh. I sincerely hope that I can be of help to him! Hehe.. :D

2nd appt:
Was happily seated at the innermost corner of Mac when I thought that I could give Ms Lin a sms. Told her that I'll see her at 12pm. At about 1150am, she gave me a ring. Said that she had to attend to some urgent matters and won't be able to meet me today. Postponed to tomorrow. 10am. Okie.

So i called Jiali. She was free for lunch. 1230pm. So I made my way to Sci. Went to collect premium from Ms Teh. And she thanked me. Hee.. Nice. She thought that I had left Singapore. Asked why I'm still around. Told her I'll be leaving on Sunday. Hee. :)
Made my way to find Mr Soh. Supposed to return him the CD that he lent me. But he wasn't in. Called him. No answer. So I went to canteen. Waited almost 1/2 hour before Jiali came. She had claypot, while I had Fish 'n' Chips. Nice. Missed the food there. Hee..

Jiali had to go at 1.30pm. I had nowhere to go. Decided to try going for my 3rd appt earlier.

3rd appt:
Tried calling Prof Kuk earlier. But no answer. So when I called again 130pm. Still no answer. I wondered if he had gone for lunch. But I guess he's the type that won't forget. Blame it on my impatience. Too eager to go back office as well. (SL's back!!!) So I left him a note, slided it underneath the door and left! :p

Made my way to Paya Lebar, went to the money changer, and gosh! Of the 5 money changers available there, I asked 3 and they told me out of stock! I didn't ask one of them coz I called and checked their rates earlier. So high! 1.713. Golden Horse Prize Enterprise had better rates. 1.709. I changed there the previous time and got 1.71. Sigh. People's Park had it 1.705. But my transport there would cost me more than $1. So, I reckon that it's not worth it to go there to change a couple of hundreds just to save that mere $2. So.. forget it.

Helped mum to changed $50 of Ringgit as well. She'll be heading to M'sia for a one day tour on 12th Jun. Heh. I won't be around that sat. So it'll be fine. I thought she'll be bored and had actually asked cousins to call her and asked cousin to arrange for Godma and Yati to come over that weekend. But looks like God has all things in hand! Hallelujah! :D
(I thought Yati would be able to help me clean up the house man. Sigh... )

So I guess I'll have to come back and do everything myself when I'm back... sob sob.. :~<

Yup. So went back to office at about 315pm? Lynn was there. Ashley and Diana. SL had her haired dyed & highlighted! Hahhaa.. soooo hipped now. A little not used to it. But its a nice color! She's back from her short trip. And I dreamt of her the night before I guess. Haha. When she was away previosly for 2 months, I think I dreamt of her at least 5 times. This time round, I think only once. Hahaha.. this sounds bad.

Had a nice chat with her. And cleared some of my stuffs. Its always nice to talk to her! :D
Happy. And I think she likes to talk to me as well.. hahaha.. just hope she won't find me too irritating. I think she don't. Hahaha. And to think that we ever went shopping before together! How nice. Gee.. Oh.. she even reminded me what to bring and what not to. heh. She's been travelling all the time. Of coz she's an expert in this. Haha.. Well well, I think I left the office at 7pm. Only us were left. The rest had all gone off much earlier. Hee..

Went to This Fashion. Got my shawl. Finally. Dunno nice or not. haha. Beige color. Or is it dirty brown? Mmm.. anything. It was $8. SL'll bring hers tomorrow as well. And she'll bring lip balm for me. I didn't wanted to buy. Coz I know that I won't use it. Hee..

Took MRT back. Though I was real tired. But no choice. No money to take cab. My bank's almost empty now. Its okie. It'll be filled when I'm back from Israel! (pay day is on the 10th!! Heh.)

Went to NTUC. Got my Luxury biscuits as well. $1.25.
Took 858. Went across the road to get Super Cup Noodles. But still no stock! Argh! Dunno when the new stock will arrive. Haiz.. Walked to my favourite Coffeeshop. Packed Hup Lee Bee hoon with chicken wing and fillet back for dinner.
Reached home 8.47pm? Bathed and had my dinner as I watched Man at Forty.
Didn't really watch the show at all. So I had no slightest idea what they are doing. haha. Thank God its Zoe Tay. Makes life better. And Edmund Chen.
Finished the show at 10pm. And here am I again.

Mm.. received a call from one of the orphan policyholder. Don't understand why the previous agent never give them a copy of the signed quotation. He's now asking for black & white and where is it stated that he'll get back his money at the end of the term. Ridiculous! Just told him that I don't have a copy. Coz its his previous agent who did it. Not me. Only company has a copy now. Think his brother was at the background and his brother took over the phone. Told him to call customer service and get them to send him a copy. Sigh. Dirty job. I'll never let such things happen to me. All my clients will get their well-deserved copies! :)

Alright. Time to ZZZzzzz........ another long day tomorrow. :D

Hee.. sooo excited man. Just browsed through some of the websites of the Dead Sea. Boy, am I excited about it. I really can't wait to set my feet upon the land - The Holy Land!!!

Today's only wednesday. 4 more days before I set off. And so much more thigns to do first. Mmmm.. Still have clients to meet tomorrow and Friday. Saturday will be more packing and consolidating. And then Sunday will be going to church and then rushing back home to bathe, changed and GO!!! Yaay!!! Sooooo happy.. Can't wait for Sunday to come!!! :D

Mmmm.. Slept at 3am last night. Was doing Ms Chan's stuffs. Good work. Good effort. Hee. Met her today with her fiance. Thomson Plaza. She looked through and understood what I had explained. Wanted to bring home the quotations to examine. I thought that's what she would do anyway. So arranged for another appt in July! After I'm back and she's on a Sat off. She liked what I did and complimented me. Hehe..
She commented," You've put in a lot of effort in this."
And I just replied,"Oh, its ok. Don't mention." Hehehhe.. :p

Though I tried not to sound too happy, deep down, I was really glad that she appreciated what I've done for her, and maybe score some points. More trust gained! I believed. :D

And then came back home, started to pack my stuffs. I guess I have to start somewhere, somehow, someday. And it was today!

From 1.45pm, I packed, ironed, folded, wrapped the essentials and packed it all neatly into my luggage bag. Phew.. a long one. Then went to Sakae with Mum for dinner. I received my birthday voucher ($20) and so decided to spend it now. Haha.. And then we had a good meal. Paid $1.95 i think. Coz of the service charge and the GST. Hmmm...

Then we shopped for more necessities that I would need and took a bus back. Continued shopping at the neighbourhood shops downstairs and then came back. Watched some TV and here I am. Wanted to sleep early. And its 11.16pm now. Gosh. I have to go. Tired.................... ZZZzzzzzzzzz...........

Had a long day today. Or I thought so. Hah.
Where did I go? Oh. Went to NUS in the morning..well, left at 1030pm and reached there at 12pm. Hehe.. thats a long ride from Yishun to NUS. Yes. Its that long. :p

Met up with Ms Lin. From China. Married with 2 kids. Studied in US for 5 years before returning with her husband a year ago. Mmmm.. I guess its PHD or something. Didn't ask. Rather nice lady. Can really save as well! Mmm.. Gonna meet her again on Thursday to show her what I've planned for her. Rather tricky. And SL's not in Singapore. But I guess it'll do just fine. Seems good enough at this moment. But she didn't give me any budget. So, just wanted to see how much that amount would require her to set aside. Don't think she's the kind that'll put aside so much. But well, at least its still something that I cracked my brains over... :)

Went to meet Ms Teh, took the PFR/PFA from her. And she forgot to prepare the premium! :/ So I'll take it from her on Thursday then. Since I'll be in NUS again then. And went back to office. And I don't think I've done alot. But I was really busy with stuffs from 3-5pm. Prepared some of the admin stuffs for Ms Chan tomorrow. Meeting her again after.... 2 months I guess. Yes.. a long while. She must have forgotten all that we'd discussed back then. Need to recap what we went through. She'll be coming with her fiance.

Yup. Then met up with Emily to go Outram. Supposed to get my stuffs and changed some currency. When I called the money-changer, realised that he's located at Peoples' Park Centre and not Pearl Centre! Mmm..and he told me that he's tun out of USD!! Duh!!??!! He said tomorrow. And assured me that tomorrow's rate will be better.. Hahaha.. like that also can. But if I were to go all the way down for that 50cents difference, then not so worth it also. Still can't decide if I want to change all at one go, or adopt a wait-and-hope-it'll-drop attitude! Geez... that's a typical Singaporean I supposed. Hehe.. Kiasu-ism!

And we decided to go back Yishun to get what I need. Went to Northpoint. Had Japanese food. Just a Oyakodon for myself and Emily had Eel Rice Bowl. As usual! Hee.. :p

Then we shopped from Watson's to Guardian to Cold Storage and still can't make up my mind. And went to NTUC, and then back to Cold Storage. And I was a little hungry by then. It was about 830pm. So we stopped by Ya Kun Kaya Toast. Had a Teh-peng and 2 slices of toast. Satisfying. Heh. :p

Then Max called. So he came to meet us, and we went to get my tooth-brush at one of the shops behind. And then I took a bus back. Guessed the 2 of them went to catch a movie. They should. Since the children are all taken care of today. And tomorrow's a holiday! Good time to rest.. hiak hiak hiak!! :p

haha.. so much for 2 hours of roaming around! haha.. Wanted to get some disposables. But looks like its either not the quality I wanted, or out of stock. Will get some from Watson's when the stocks come in this thursday. Else I gotta look elsewhere for it. I'm flying on Sunday!
yaaay... so exciting!! hehehehee..... :D

Its getting rather late. But I haven't finish compiling Ms Chan's stuff for tomorrow's meeting. Mmmm.. better get going! :D
