5 more days and I've got another 7.5 more topics to go! Oh... Its not going to be easy.. Tomorrow is overnight prayer meeting... MMmmmm. Saturday afternoon will be gone too! Coz I'll be sleeping till then! Hahaha...

Mmmm.. today's Youyi's funeral. Didn't go. Coz all of them working leh.. Though I'm not working. But kindda funny if I go alone though... Mmmm...
Have smsed his hp to ask for his niche's address.. No reply as yet... Hopefully someone will tell me.. Otherwise, will have to call his house some time later to ask.. But then again, not so nice to call and ask like that when his mother probably would have calmed down.. Mmmm.. let's just await his reply. Else, gotta really call his house next year. Else, find out from Xiaohuan's poly friend who is Youyi's sister's bf.... Just sent her a sms. A bit dar.. but you zhi zhe shi jing chen. Haha.. If there's a will, there's a way....

Right. Gonna sleep early tonight, coz tomorrow gotta go for sales idea workshop.. then got to come back and rest for tomorrow's CG and Overnight Prayer Meeting... hehe...

At 1130pm, I received a sms.. it reads...

"This is winston wong's bro using his hp to inform you that my bro has passed away. His funeral will be held tmr at the void deck of our blk."

*shocked* *unbelief*

I called back the number and his cousin spoke to me.
I was asked to inform the primary school mates.
I guess I was first in his hp list. "Alice" He asked if I'm his primary school mate.
I guess he made some encoding in my name...

Winston aka Youyi is my primary school classmate.
He's a good looking guy with a kind heart. He's a very nice guy.
Why?

He made a wrong turn at Changi and while he was about to U-turn, a Mecedes cab came along and knocked into him. Exact details I'm not too sure.
Heard from Xuehui it appeared in the newspaper - Wan Bao.
The accident took place yesterday. He passed away today. His mother is depressed and can't accept the fact. Neither can I.
Pictures of the photographs we took in May 2003 flashed across my memory many times.
That was our so called last gathering I think. We didnt really have any since then.
Everyone was busy. I remember talking to him about insurance. He said he had some.
I hope he does. And I hope it does help to cover some expenses and some for his parents.

I still can't believe it. A close friend... gone just like that. I wonder if he ever confessed the sinner's prayer. I wonder if he's saved. Life's real short.

We used to play together and he's one of the closer primary school mate I have.

Today is Aunt Tho's funeral. Visited her at the hospital on Monday night.
I reached home at 9pm. Dad called and said that she's in a critical condition. Hence, I had a quick shower and we rushed to SGH.

Upon arrival, she was already breathing through the oxygen mask, and breathing hard and slow. Just to give you a glimpse of her background. Being super-detailed me, you can expect a big paragraph of what I'm going to say.

Since Aunt Tho is Dad's cousin. (Tang Mei) and that makes her my Tang-Gu.
She's 48 this year. 24 years my senior. At the age of 25, she already had diabetes and it could all be attributed to the soft drinks and lack of exercise. She's never seen drinking plain water. Always with carbonated drinks. Always. No matter how people nag at her, she'll still be stubborn and insists on drinking soft drinks.
Through the years, her health deteriorated. I just got to know that around year 2000, she had a heart-bypass. It was a more than 10 hours long operation.
It must have been difficult for her.

Not too sure when her kidneys failed too. When I get to visit her at the hospital lately, she already required kidney dialysis. Around 2002, I heard her eyes were failing her too. One of her eyes got burnt at some lasic surgery and she had only one eye left which had only 10% clarity. She basically only know that someone is standing there, but can't see the face. She joined the Blind Association where she got help. And where members from Touch Community were there to spread the Gospel.
I remember that around 2 years ago at a relative's wake, my mum was sharing the Gospel with her and she even said, "See how things goes la.. all religion are the same.." Thank God, few months later, she called my mum one day excitedly, and told her that she has accepted Christ and that she's going to be baptized soon.
It was a happy occasion. Through these 2 years, her son got saved and baptized, and her husband got saved few months back too, he was supposed to get baptized today, but due to her funeral, his baptism would be postponed to next month.

On the even of Chinese New Year, Aunt Tho had one of her legs amputated because of infection. A week later, the other leg was amputated too. The first time I visited her at the hospital, she still had both legs. I remember her saying that they might be amputated soon. The second time I went to the hospital, both her legs were gone...
The amazing thing was that she didnt look like she was in pain. I even asked my mum if its painful. My mum stared at me and asked me, "what do you think?" I guess the reason that I asked that question is because, she really had no complains of negative words to say. We were trying to encourage her, but on the contrary, she was really strong and said that.."Leave everything to God lo...Let Him handle everything.."
And many times, she really thank God for the people that He has placed around her, and she thank God that she got to know Him.
I've really never seen anyone in her condition who can still remain so calm and peaceful. She isn't like other people who'll probably be in agony and screaming away. She didn't.
She fought a brave fight. And she's with the Lord now in paradise. I thank God for seeing her through it all. Her 15 year old son and her husband would be well protected too. I know God's grace is upon them. She held on very tightly to God all these while and I know she had a real intimate relationship with Him.

Her pain and agony are over. There's no more sorrow and pain in Heaven. Thank God.
Oh, according to her Pastor, she ever told her that if God-willing, and she should get well, she'll want to serve Him and do His work. She'll want to share the goodness of God with people around her and spread the Gospel to many people.
How can anyone in her condition still think of serving God and spreading His Gospel for Him? I salute Aunt Tho.. for her faith and trust in God. I know that many times, she was lonely and afraid, but she knew that she had a God whom she can trust and can rely on. She knew where she is going and I'm glad she has chosen a path of no regrets. Praise the Lord!

This post will be dedicated to Aunt Tho. In remembrance of her...
I'll see you in Heaven Aunt. I love you....

Mmmm... been in church since 830am this morning. After service, met up with Bro Jon to discuss some CG stuffs together with Kelly and Lilian and Andy.. Mmmmm... serious stuffs.. and its getting me all excited!
Life's gonna get more challenging.. and more exciting... People's gonna adjust.. and people's gonna rise up! Yeah... :)

Had a short lunch.. and then hang around in the cafe with the sisters and brothers who were left... had some chat while I edited my logos.. hahah.. for my assignment.. at least its better now.. hehehe..

Met Bro Jon again at 2plus.. till about 3 plus.. and then waited for mum and uncle to come at 4pm. Had a rather good service.. ended a little late today at about 635pm. Then we took a cab back for dinner, together with dad.. and then back home! Now's 9pm. I already had a bath... eyes getting tired...

Wondering if I should do my assignment???? :/

Exams coming.. another 15 more days..... AAHhhhhhh... HHeelllppp!!!
Assignments due in another 15 more days too.. sigh.... :(

So many things to do in 15 days.... Lord, I really need Your grace and mercy to see me through this period!! Help me please! In Jesus' mighty name I pray, that You'll anoint me with Your power and strength and good health! Hallelujah!!

Mmmmm... maybe I should go play some guitar now.. hahaha.. bear with the noise please.. till I've been anointed.. hahahaha... keke.. okie.. i better get going.. before the night gets darker... hahaha...

Haha.. Yeah..
2 days was real fast.. In the blink of an eye, I've been there.. and back!
Aye... not enough yet though.. hehehe...

Mmm.. an advice to those who wanna go Genting for a breather.. go there for at least 2 days.. then u can take ur time to go through the theme parks and take a good walk around.. We arrived at Hotel Resort at about 330pm. By the time we checked in, it was 530pm! Yesh.. and by the time we unpacked and got ready to go out... it was like 6plus! It was a long long wait at the lobby.. We had to take a queue number.. and we were about 80plus in the queue! That took 2 hours! Next time, I shall get someone to take a number for me 2 hours before I arrive.. Hahaha... Or, I should arrive earlier, get a number.. go somewhere to relak and makan first before I check in.. :/

So, we had dinner, then the adults went to Casino, which was their main purpose, and Emily and me went to walk around and try to find somewhere to 'play'. We first went to First World Plaza to get the tickets for the 930pm show. "Kungfu Mahjong". It is just a very humourous show and its a show very good for laughs.. JUST FOR LAUGHS. Nothing else. But it was real funny.. hahahha...
We almost fell off our seats.. hahahaha... :D

Then we went to play pool! Had 3 games. And its been a long while since I played pool. But it was kindda okay la... hehehe.. Should get on it more often but its so expensive in Singapore! Haha.. It was only RM$3 per game.. and thats about S$1.30! Heh.. So after 3 games, it was about 845pm.. Made our way into the Casino to look for mum and dad and uncle... Dad didnt want to watch.. so he stayed on in the casino, while the 4 of us had a good time at the movies.

Emily and I originally wanted to watch Mr and Mrs Smith at 1145pm, BUT, its 1145AM!! Hahaha.. so, no choice.. we had nothing much to do. After the show, we had some dim sum and fried oyster.. Eee.. not nice one... never eat there.. Its like a Marche-alike kindda eating place. They give you a piece of paper, u go to the food stalls, order and they make some coding on the paper. We pay when we exit.. But the food there is not nice and expensive!!!! Urgh.. :/
Mum and uncle went to find dad after that while Emily and I went back to the hotel room. We bathed and then she went to Coffeebean to check her emails and stuffs, while I watched the show "The Jonathan Wamback Story" on TV... it was such a sad story.. EEEeee... :~(

After the show ended, I went down to find Emily.. we had another go at the Chocolate Swirl Cheesecake, and then we went back to the hotel.. It was about 2am?? We had a little chat and fell asleep.. It was kindda funny as we had 2 queen sized bed side by side, and we were both sleeping in one of the corners.. the rest is left for mum and dad and uncle u see? Dont want them to wake us up in the middle while we are sleeping.. so we occupied just one corner.. haha... :)

They came back at 4.15am.. and I had to open the door for them... the card was somehow stuck.. went back to sleep.. and it was kindda cosy.. 5 persons on 2 beds.. hahaha.. I was sleeping between Emily and Mum.. and then dad and uncle... sigh.. didnt really sleep well.. coz there were lots of 'music' all around me! :/

But anyway, we woke up at 8am.... washed up and then dad woke up.. mum and uncle had made their way to the casino! So, emily and me waited for dad to bathe... and then we made our way to the Casino to look for them...

Had our breakfast at the restaurant at Genting Hotel.. and it was Dim Sum! The food's fresh.. but not much variety.. or maybe we were too late.. :( Nothing much left to choose.. sigh....
After breakfast, they went to the Casino again, while we went to the Theme Park! Hehe... Bought 1 day Indoor Tickets and we had a total of 4 go at the Bumper Car, 1 ride at the Roller Coaster (indoor one).. and then we had outdoor for the Flying Coaster!! It was described as very scary to me.. but it was not that scary after I tried.. hehehe... was quite nervous at first.. but its really okie... its very safe.. and thrilling!! Hahahhahaa... will try it again when I'm there the next time.. and the space shot too!! Had 3 rides at it the last time I went in 2002.. Hehehe..

Then we rushed back to hotel to look for mum... coz we had to check out at 12pm! Hehe.. We reached at 1150am. I thought mum would scold.. but she didnt.. coz she thought it was still early! Hehee.. phew! So, I had a bath.. then we left...
Went for lunch at Pizza... and it was really cheap! Hehehe.. It was good! We left after lunch... Went to take the skytrain while Emily went to the bus terminal to get her bus. She was on a different bus company.. Alisan! It's supposed to be a good company... so you can try that the next time u wanna go Malaysia! Heee.. Never take five stars!!!!!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeee.... horrendous! Sigh... spoil the whole trip!

So, we reached the skyway station at 2pm. Had to report back at 245pm. And when we went back, we were told the bus would be late. This company is always like that! We waited till 4pm before the bus finally came.. sigh.. Good thing is that the driver drove fast. We reached Singapore at about 10pm. So it was kindda faster than when we went there.. wasted a few hours! Sigh....

But like I said, if you are there to rest and relax, then it would be good to stay 2 nights there, but if you are there to just visit the casino, one night is more than enough to lose all you have.. thats a no-no place to go.. I went in there many times in the 2 days.. but to find mum and dad.. didnt play anything.. and that's a wise choice! Hehehe.. :)

I'm glad Emily was there with me.. I guess we both had a good time.. but it was really too rushed! Sigh... if only we could be there longer... Heee....

Thanks emmy... for making the sacrifice... but well.. your boss is good.. hahahaa.. :p

Tomorrow's Saturday.. or rather.. today is saturday.. and its Meiling's birthday!!! Yeah.. Happy Birthday Gal!!
She came for cell group last night.. yeah.. few hours ago.. hehe.. and I hope she'll be here more often.. :)

Can sleep in later and gonna see the doctor in the afternoon.. or morning.. if I can wake up in time.. hehehee.. Tada!! :D

Yeah!!
Been a long while, or at least it seemed.. since I last had a holiday.
The last trip was a far and long one to Israel.. last June.. Hehehe.. that was good.. I can still remember it now! :)

So off to Genting tmr... with parents and uncle.. and Emily!
hahaha.. she's a last minute decision.. well.. we made some plans long ago..
But as things were not finalised.. and nothing was concrete then... it was shelved...
But.. we just decided!!! Hehehee... :)

So.. we'll be there for 2 days.. and then we'll come back... no disturbance for 2 days.. and I'm just going to take a break...

It has been so stressful recently.. Urgh.. I really do need a small little break before I come back to meet the assigment that needs to be done.. and to study for my exams!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh........

Yeah.. as described in the topic.. this post is on what I've received this year for my Big Day.. Hahaa...

Well... to recall what happened that day wasnt too difficult at all.. Coz... nothing much happened! Haha.. Well... like what I've been trying to tell myself... don't expect too much... and true enough, I shouldnt have.. haha... though I've still been... and been trying to tell myself not to... Hahaha.... Contradicting... :p

Early at 00:01am, PingPing was the first to sms when I was already in dreamland.. hehe... Thanks!! :)

Got up early for Emerge! Went to Church, Vivien gave me a little mirror that she decorated herself. Woah.. that's a little surprise... :) Vara wished me Happy Birthday... And that was it till the first session ended. Took a cab back to Yishun to meet Mum for lunch.. Had Sakae Sushi.. and then back home to bathe and then cab back to Church again for the afternoon session of Talentime.. it was a GOOD session!! :) Then stayed till at night, about 11pm. Had a ride back in Sharon's car... And that was it..... No one else knew it was my Big Day.. Haha.. rather sad... Even my own SOT Team didnt prepare any cards... no cake... nothing! :/

I am the one who always buy cards for the team to write... buy cake to celebrate on their birthday...and when its my turn... NO ONE does what I normally does... that's sad, isn't it? Sigh... well well... DONT EXPECT ANYTHING... Well.. I didnt celebrate their birthdays hoping that they'll celebrate mine, but I did it coz I want them to be happy on their birthday and I guess its a nice thing to do for somebody's birthday... :)

So.... no birthday song on my Big Day, no cake on my Big Day..thats saddening enough for me.. hahaha... and on top of that... certain people forgot all about it... sigh... maybe I'm not that good a friend to them at all! Or maybe friends are not measured by whether they remember your Big Day or not... hahaha... well......

Woah.. 2 days have passed...

Many things happened.. too tired to pen down anything now.. Gotta get up at 530am to go Sentosa tomorrow... I wanna have a good nite's sleep and be able to enjoy myself at Sentosa tomorrow.. unlike the previous time, where I was half a zombie coz I didnt sleep well the nite before...

Not entirely... I merely went to color my hair.. because Big Day coming.. plus Emerge coming.. hehehe.. both falls on the same day...

So.. I went to pamper myself... $111.70 for color, highlight, treatment and cut at , and to for manicure and pedicure. Hehe.. Ruiping went with me. Met her earlier and knowing that I'm going for a manicure, she wanted to too!! So we went...
Rather rushed.. I went to color my hair... rushed to get my nails done.. then back to salon for treatment and trimming.. Hahaha... It was a hectic day.. And I'm so tired now... Zzzzzzzzzzz........

One and half hours to Big Day.. Hahah.. so far.. no surprises.. Mmmmm.. I would love to have some though.. hahaha.. But.. nothing yet... sianz... maybe tomorrow.. maybe the SOT mates will give me some.. but still.... I prefer to not have any expectation... but.. it aint easy leh... hahahaha....

I'm always full of expectations... But.. Maybe can consider Ruiping spending time with me rather fulfilling lah.. She accompany me ma.. saying that since tmr is my BD, she accompany me today loh...hahah... how nice of her.. Blessed to have such a long time friend... Knew her since Primary 1!!! Yeah.. and we've been contact all this while.. keke... :D

Nice friend to have. But we need to spend more time together lah... else frienship would become diluted.. hehehe....

Yup... so came back.. rather happy now.. and looking forward to tomorrow's Emerge.. and feeling very tired already.. hahaha.. Mmmmmm.. wonder how and what its gonna be like... Mmmmm... :p

Cool! Awesome!
We had a wonderful overnight prayer meeting last night.
As we end our semester, we ended by praying for the church, our up-coming Arise & Build campaign.. Emerge... etc.... We had a thanksgiving to God too and also ended with Communion.... it was.. awesome! No words to describe it!

At the close of it, bro Bobby had the sisters to hug one another and the brothers to hug one another.. and to thank one another for being there.. being a friend... being in the same batch...It was so................ warm...
Many wept.. and we could really feel the closeness.... it was... GREAT!

Besides that, presence of God was strong.. and... we were all really charged up.. didn't doze off at all.. (ops!) And our spirits were still stirring when the PM ended.. Haha.. We left church at about 5am.. Had our usual chee cheong fun at the 24 hour coffeeshop.. Hehehe... left coffeeshop at about 530am... Bro Teck Yong gave us a lift.. Sent Paulyn back... then went the wrong way.. sent vivien back and when we reached her place, it was 6am.. then sent cecelia to AMK.. it was 640am.. I reached home at about 7am.... ZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....

Deadbeat.... so i changed and slept.. woke up at 130pm.. usual vacuuming and mopping.. then bathed and went to meet FT... She wanted to get something from me.. But i advised her to keep more savings with her first... she can't take up anything for now la... But i really appreciate that she was really sincere.. but being righteous... I just can't recommend her to take any plans at all!! It would be against my conscience! :)

So... came back.. met mum.. had our facial.. and then to her church mate's place.. they were making dumplings.. reached home at about 1030pm.. bathed.. and here am I...
another long day tmr.. Gotta stay back to discuss prospects thingy.. and give emily tuition.. then movie...... Urgh.. God, please help me....

Oh... Happy Birthday to Eric!! He'll never ever get to see this.. but oh well.. I sms-ed him last night.. hahaa....

Getting nearer and nearer... I wonder what'll happen this year..... I wonder if I'll get any surprise... I love surprises.. But I never get them.. coz i'm too observant.. hahahaha.. I can 'sense' everything all the time... It'll be good to have surprises.. and surprises always brightens my day! :)

Routine always bores me.... It's always EXPECTED! Sigh...

But so sad.. no cakes... ice cream.. nice food this year for me... sob sob sob...

God.. I seek your divine healing to be upon me.. I thank You that I'm healed by the stripes of Jesus. I thank You for everything You've done on the Cross... Thank You! Continue to Your work in my life.. And allow me to serve You more and more and with a healthy body...

Mmmmmm... I wonder if Usher'll be celebrating for me tmr.. ahhaha... initially I forgot all about it.. till Ann called and asked if I can serve during Emerge.. mmmm... there goes another surprise again... sigh....

Can I just don't expect anything?? I'll just get more disappointed as I expect more... Things always dont happen the way I want it to be.. hahhaha.... Cool it, babe! :D

For once, I can spend real quality time with God, have a good rest, a good sleep...
hehehe... Sounds very deprived eh? Yah.. its like that when you are in SOT... hahahaah..
Not trying to deter anyone from going though.. Its GOOD! So much to learn... and to apply! Broaden my knowledge and most important of all, I got to understand the heart and will of GOd MUCH MUCH MUCH better!!! This year has indeed been a tremendous year thus far... Time is really moving so fast that in the blink of an eye, I've already been in SOT for 4 months! Phew!

So much to absorb and so much more to come... Exams coming 5th-8th July! Stressed again!! :p

I've grown so much closer to God and its just so wonderful to begin every single day praising and worshipping God.. I've grown to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit as well.. Still learning to listen to His still, small voice.. His presence never fails to bring comfort to me... Praise God! Glory to Jesus! :)
